That's why I am going to reveal 5 Morning Habits of a Successful Girlboss in this blogpost. Sharing is caring right? 5 Morning Habits Of A Girlboss
1. WAKE UP EARLY. REALLY EARLY
It's inevitable: if you want to have a successful, productive morning, you have to wake up early. I've noticed that I am way more productive in the mornings as well, even though I am more of a night person. I try to wake up around 7-8 AM, but I would like to wake up even earlier. If you struggle with waking up early every morning, try to gradually set your alarm a couple of minutes earlier everyday. This way, your body will slowly adjust to the new rhytm and you won't feel like a zombie every morning. You're welcome. ;)
2. FEEL GOOD FROM THE OUTSIDE IN
Feeling good from the inside out is important, but what about the outside in? Every Girlboss makes sure her outer appearance reflects her inner success and intelligence as well. Beauty empowers intelligence! So every morning, make sure you take some time to apply your skincare, put on your make-up and finish of with a nice outfit (and yes, you can totally wear that pair of heels, who cares if it is a 'normal' day!).
3. PLANNING IS KEY
Getting things done is very important if you want to actualize your dreams. That's why making a good planning is key. And no, what makes a planning good is not the amount of tasks you need to finish or the super long to do list you added. A good planning is a planning you can actually fix that day. Don't go overboard with the things you have to do. Stay realistic, otherwise you will always feel disappointed you did not finish your daily goals you set out for yourself.
4. TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH
Fighting for your success as a powerful woman can be challenging. Short nights, too much coffee and not enough exercise are definitely things you should avoid as much as possible. Make sure you get as much sleep as you possibly can (I sleep 5-6 hours on an average but I try to sneak in a powernap). Change your coffee for some water or healthy green tea and find a way to exercise that you actually like (currently, I take 4 dance classes a week and I love it!). Because achieving your goals is important, but there is nothing more important than taking care of your health.
5. SPARK YOUR MOTIVATION
Last, but not least: make sure to spark your motivation everytime you wake up again in the morning. Sometimes we can lose track of the things that we want to actually achieve, which makes us lose our motivation as well. That's why it is important to know what you are fighting for. If you know why you're hustling hard, but you still feel unmotivated to do anything, don't you worry. Another thing that could help is to make the 'task' as enjoyable as possible. Buy yourself some fresh flowers for your study desk, brew yourself a nice iced coffee and start revising that course with the prettiest handwritten title ever (honestly you guys, handlettering makes making notes/handwritten summaries so much more fun!). You got this.
