Although I’ve never regretted moving to Groningen for my study, I do miss leaving nearby Amsterdam. Especially because Amsterdam is crowed with cute hotspots. Previous week I had some events in Amsterdam for my blog, so after I was done I went on a little hotspot hunting. And I found the perfect place! It’s called Anna + Nina and it’s one of the coolest stores I’ve seen. They sell fashion, interior, lifestyle and beauty items, so you can definitely find anything you’re looking for. And the interior itself is to die for too. So yeah, if you wanna see what I’m talking about, keep reading!
LOCATION
Anna + Nina opened their first store in Amsterdam in 2013 with a second following in the same city in June 2014. The ladies are doing pretty great you can say! I visited the store in Gerard Doustraat 94, Amsterdam, but they also have a store located at Kloveniersburgwal 44, Amsterdam. They sell stationary, fashion, gifts, jewellery, accessories and interior items. Yeah, that’s a lot, I know. They have a lot of brands I’ve never heard before, which is a big plus to me. I love discovering new awesome brands!
Interior
I think the most unique aspect of this store is the interior. It looks so cool, edgy and indie at the same time. Because everything looked so stylish in the store itself, it makes me wanna buy their home decor even more… I just love all the little shelfs and closets filled with trendy bits and bobs.
Favourite items
So, what are my favourite items of Anna + Nina? First of, I fell in love with their mugs. They look very minimal and simple, but they’re actually freaking badass. I got the overworked/underpaid mug for my mom (hi mommy if you’re reading <3) and bitch for me. I guess that doesn’t need any explanation, haha. I also really liked the look of their beauty products. How chic does this look at your sink right?!
I only bought the mugs, but the next time I’m gonna try out some of the jewellery there. Probably some cute dainty earrings. Or a bracelet… So much choice, I really don’t know! Definitely take a look at this store yourself, it will be worth it, I promise you :). Even if it’s just to look at their unique interior. It will inspire you for sure (and feeling inspired is one of the best things ever right?!). So yeah, hope you enjoyed reading about this Amsterdam hotspot! Ik ben hier laatst nog geweest! Voor mijn stage maakte ik namelijk een shoproute door De Pijp en dit was één van de toffe winkels, hihi. Ik vond ook alles zo schattig en mooi.
