Now that back to school season is in full effect, one of the most important (and probably also the most fun) things on your to do list should be shopping for your school supplies essentials. Over the past years I've been studying, I definitely discovered things that did and did not work for me. The items that I am going to show you today as my student school supplies essentials are truly tried and tested. If you're curious in my musthaves for any student going to law school or university in general, keep reading!

LAPTOP

Having a laptop for law school or university is a MUST. You want to make sure you're able to keep up with writing your notes whenever you have class from that speedy lecturer, or that you able to write essays with ease, and create PowerPoint presentations when needed. I have always used an Apple MacBook Air 13 Inch, because they are not only pretty lightweight, but also fast and easy to use. I am definitely an Apple girl, so I would recommend Apple over PC any day! To protect my MacBook and make it look aesthetically pleasing as well, I use this CaseApp Laptop cover sticker, in a custom marble print I created myself.

EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE

Another tech essential for school is an external hard drive. One of a student's worst nightmares is a computer that stops working, right before you wanted to hit that save button for the 20-pages essay you've been working on for days. In order to avoid any panick attacks due to crashing computers, I use this WD External Hard Drive to back up all my important documents, as well as this really cute rose gold hard drive case to make sure my external hard drive stays safe whenever I take it with me. I highly recommend backing up all your documents (I use Time Machine for my MacBook Air to back up everything automatically), because it will help you out in any of these types of stressful situations.

BOOK BAG & LAPTOP BAG

A good book bag and laptop bag is a musthave essential for anyone going to school. I personally like using two bags, because I prefer having two smaller bags with me, instead of one big one. As my book bag, I always use my beloved Teddy Blake Bag (use TBLilia20 for extra $20 off). Not only are they very beautiful, but the quality of these leather bags are amazing. I have 3 Teddy Blake bags currently, and they all look brand new, even after a lot of usage. Aside from a book bag, I like to use a smaller handbag, or a laptop bag. My laptop bag is from Victoria's Secret, and I love the fact that it is as big as a laptop sleeve, yet it comes with practical handles to carry it.

PLANNER

Ever since I started using a planner, my life has changed for the better. I have become a much more organized and productive person by scheduling my tasks consistently. It makes me feel less anxious too, because I know that I have my plan figured out for that day, week or month. I religiously use the Supplied by Lily Student Desk Planner, a planner that I designed myself to fit every student's needs. It comes with a yearly, monthly and weekly overview, as well as to do lists, and exam and paper planners. I know this planner is part of my own brand, but I really believe in my product - I got my friends, peer students, and many of you hooked on it already!

NOTEBOOKS

Having a couple of notebooks is pretty much a staple for any student. I love using notebooks to write down my notes from class, because it makes me remember the study material better. I use the Supplied by Lily Spiral Notebooks for all my overviews, summaries, and lecture notes. Not only are these notebooks really pretty, they are also very durable and good quality. They come in A4 and A5 sizes, so they are perfect for anyone!

PENS & HIGHLIGHTERS

I feel like every student has a weak spot for some nice pens and highlighters. A pretty pen or pastel highlighter can just instantly brighten up my study day. My favorite pen to use is the Rose Gold Swarovski Pen. It's a tad bit fancy, but the quality of this pen is amazing. I also love using the Stabilo Pastel Highlighters for highlighting all my important notes, because they are just the prettiest pastely markers I've ever seen. They also came out with a Stabilo Pastel Highlighters Mini version set, which is perfect to take with you to class. Additionally, I like using the Zebra Mildliners - they come with a very big selection of colors, and are all dual sided. To organize them, I use this Acrylic Pen Holder. It makes it look super neat and organized!

LUNCH BOX

Although it is very tempting to just grab something quick on campus for lunch, I try to pack my lunch as often as I can. I use a Sistema Lunchbox to pack my lunch. I love how this lunchbox has different sections, which are perfect for carrying little snacks like blueberries or nuts. I also love the fact that it isn't very bulky, and that I can put it in my dish washer. And it doesn't leak, period.

BOOK STAND

A book stand? What? Do I need that? Well, the answer is short: Yes, you do. Before I was introduced to the wonderful world of book stand, I always struggled so much with reading and summarizing my study books on my laptop or in my notebook at the same time. I kept looking up and down, trying to find the exact sentence I was summarizing. Not only did this cause me a lot of neck pain, it was also very time costly. With this portable book stand, all these issues are solved! You can shop the travel friendly book stand here.

DOCUMENT FOLDER

I often get the question how I organize all my notes, documents & hand-outs. Especially when you're in law school, professors just love to bombard you with a crazy amount of very important paperwork. In order to keep everything neat and organized, I use a document folder box. These are like your typical harmonica document folders, only way bigger and sturdier, making it the perfect spot to organize all your important hand-outs. You can find a similar document folder to the one I use here.

Hi! My must have are definitely my Furla tote bag or a Levi’s pink mini backpack(there’re spacious but cute looking), a lily like desk planner in luxurious blush floral, 0,5 gel muji black ink pens and a keep cup (so I can drink coffee but not use plastic coffee cups). Those are things that really are helpful and help me be organized
