Who doesn’t feel super badass when wearing a faux fur coat? Well I do, for sure. Being a Russian girl, faux fur makes me feel like I’m truly repping my heritage, haha. I think Russian fashion is super classy, feminine and out there – exactly what I like. Now that the colder weather is truly approaching, it was time to rediscover my beloved fur again. I got this coat previous year and I’m so glad I did. It’s a timeless faux fur coat and it makes every outfit an eyecatcher. Wanna know where it’s from? Keep reading! 😉
So, what about the coat? I got this faux fur coat at Topshop last Winter and I still love it. I think it looks super realistic – I hate it when fake fur looks fake. I’m totally against fur (I think it’s only appropriate for people in Alaska, Russia or other freezing countries in the Winter, because real fur is wayyy warmer than faux fur, but still, with no animal cruelty involved please), but I do like my fur to look real. I also love the pale colour of this fur, because it kinda matches my pale skin too. And of course, it keeps you warm in the Winter too! To make this outfit even more edgy, I also wore my lace-up body suit from Yoké. And no, I immediately changed it when I needed to go to uni, not gonna wear this stuff around there, haha. I finished it off with some cigarette pants from Missguided. They give this look a bit more of a classy feel.
For accessories, I chose some pretty marble rings and earrings from H&M, my beloved Gentle Monster sunnies and some pointy pumps from Zara. I call them my office pumps, because they remind me of something a lawyer would wear to the office: they’re classy, comfortable yet out-there at the same time. Love it!

Yay for gifs, haha. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this outfit of the day. I don’t think this is everybody’s style, but I see that as a good thing. If we all had the same style, fashion would be so boring right? I love mixing, matching and creating different outfits. It’s like every outfit reflexts a different side of my personality. Some people say that the outside doesn’t count, but I couldn’t agree less. I feel like the outside of the person says a lot about their inside too (for example, what about wearing your heart on your sleeve). It’s just that the outside doesn’t say it all. But it does say a lot though. Food for thought.
