Simple outfits are usually the best outfits. Especially during hot weather. I think mixing cool trends like lace-up with leopard is a good way to spice up any simple outfit. One of my favorite color combinations is denim with leopard, so you can imagine that I'm really digging this look! Also, I can't wait for Dutch weather to be back to this again - at the moment it's raining like cray cray and I just can't deal! I want to be able to show my bare legs and wear croptops without freezing to death (and having a tan. I NEED a tan lol). What I love about this outfit is the fact that if you break it down - it' actually very simple. A cami, some cut-off shorts and a pair of good boots. Anybody can pull this off! I think the longer coat from Stradivarius also adds a nice touch to the ensemble. Playing with lengths is key to creating a cool, put together and unique outfit. And it's also great if you feel like your shorts are a bit too short if you know what I mean, haha! I often get the question how I come up with my outfits. Honestly, I think pairing contrasting items is my secret. Most people think you have to work with a certain style - hell no! Think outside the box and try mixing different types of clothing (for example Summer shorts with a longer coat and boots like I did here) and fuck seasons, styles and whatevs. Just go with the flow and create something you like. And of course: simple is always good too. I think this ribbed lace-up cami is the perfect Summer essential for literally everyone. It's so comfy and soft! And of course, it's cropped too. You know I love my croptops! I received this piece from Romwe and I think it's a great item. Romwe never disappointed me so far, which is a big thing to say (I shop way too much online lol)! Oh and by the way, I thought to add a black and white photo to this outfit post. I literally never use black and white photos, but I do have to say I really like it! I think I'm going to add more of them in future outfit of the day blogposts, what do you think?

The key (major key alert) to making a simple outfit still look bomb.com is to add some cool accessories. I live for accessories. I own a crapload of crossbody bags and I can't get enough of pretty watches as well. Some girls aren't, but I'm definitely an accessories kind of gal! In this look I'm wearing my new and already so beloved Alexander Wang Mini Rockie with rose gold. Adding such a statement-y bag upgrades this outfit to a whole 'nother level in an instant. Damn, this bag is such a stunner and I'm soooo glad I got it when I was away in New York City! I catch myself staring at it at least a couple times a day. I just can't take my eyes off here, lol! I also think it's really easy to pair with any outfit I wear, despite the fact it's so out there. Yup, I'm just in love with it haha! It's definitely an eyecatcher and one of the prettiest bags I've ever seen. Can't go wrong with Alexander Wang in my opinion, 'cause I literally love all the items he creates!

    Suuuuper vet! Zelf zou ik echt de ballen niet hebben om deze te dragen (vond laatst lopen met een crop top zonder high waisted pants al heftig) maar vind ‘m wel echt stoer!
