There happened a lot when it comes to my eyebrow game. I think eyebrows are so freaking important, because they can make or break every make-up look that you wear. I’ve struggled for a long time with my brows, because I liked a strong, pretty dark brow, but my hairs are blonde and I have blond hair. Often when I look back at pictures, I really hate the way my brows look. But, now I can finally say that I’ve got my brows under control, we’re in a good place atm, haha. Wanna know why? Well, a couple days ago I went to the Benefit Browbar in Groningen to get my brows coloured and waxed and it turned out awesome. Seriously, I really impressed. I’ve had my brows plucked and coloured at other salons, but I never was that blown away. But the Benefit Browbar totally changed that, because the girl there nailed it when it comes to my brows. I also finally got the hang of the Anastasia Brow Wiz and the Tinted Brow Gel, so I think it’s very appropriate to write a review about these two lovely browproducts!
Pretty, pretty products. Anastasia makes in my opinion the best brow products ever. This is the 3rd time I’ve purchased the Brow Wiz pencil and 1st time I got my hands on the Tinted Brow Gel. The Brow Wiz pencil is in the colour Taupe, the Gel in the colour Blonde and they match my blonde, ashy toned hair perfectly. The Brow Wiz comes with a spoolie on the other side and let me tell you guys: it’s the best freaking spoolie I’ve ever had and yes, I notice a big difference to other spoolies. I don’t know what it is, but it always combs my hairs perfectly.

This is how my natural brows look. Well, not my natural brows, but my natural brows after I’ve coloured them. I think it turned out so beautiful, I almost don’t need any brow product and I definitely can go out the door with bare brows. But, I do love that perfect on fleek brow look, so filling them in is still a must for me.
ANASTASIA BROW WIZ PENCIL IN TAUPE
I always start off with the Brow Wiz pencil. It has a very small point, which makes it perfect for drawing little brow hairs in your brows. It’s very pigmented, but not too soft, so it’s also easy to work with. I hate it when pencils are very soft and kinda oily, because they make your brows look messy. I love that sharp brow look, so a pigmented, hard pencil is key. Well, this one is awesome, let me tell you that. The colour is also a perfect match. The only downside to this pencil is the fact that it doesn’t last a long time. I usually need to buy this pencil every 1-2 months, which is in my opinion, ridiculously fast. I don’t use a shitload of it or something and I usually use it only once a day, so I think 1-2 months for a pencil is madness. It’s also pretty expensive, so that’s why I haven’t repurchased it that often. But, it is by far the best brow pencil I’ve ever tried.
ANASTASIA TINTED BROW GEL IN BLONDE
After I’ve applied the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade as well, I’m putting on some Tinted Brow Gel. As you can see, the Blonde colour has a shimmery golden shine to it, which looks really pretty in my opinion. Although I’m an ashy blonde, I still have a little bit of goldiness going on at the top of my head. That’s why I like to warm up my brows just a tiny bit. The gel makes sure that your hairs don’t move a bit, because it makes them very hard. It’s actually even kinda funny to touch your brows, because you literally can’t move the hairs, haha! I do think it’s a very nice Brow Gel, but to be honest, I don’t think it’s amazing or something. I’m definitely gonna use it till the end, but I don’t think that I will repurchase it.

AFTER
And this is the finished result with the rest of my eye make-up done. As you can see, my brows are very defined and clean, yet not unnatural or something. Damn, I’m definitely loving my brows, they’re finally perfect in my opinion, haha!

As you can see, I’m always making my round-ish brows a bit more angular, because I think it looks better with my eyeshape (I already have really round eyes, so the angle in my brows balances it out a bit more). Pretty freaky picture by the way, haha.

So yeah, that’s it for today’s review! I definitely recommend both products that I’ve reviewed today, but especially the Brow Wiz is a-ma-zing. If it wasn’t that expensive I would buy it 9334934, that’s how much I love it, haha! It’s definitely the best brow pencil I’ve ever tried, because it’s so easy to use and it looks very natural. The Brow Gel is also nice, but it’s not super special or something. Ik houd ook wel van wat meer aangezette brows, dus dit is ook helemaal mijn smaak, ziet er goed uit! De struggles met wenkbrauwen herken ik, dus misschien moet ik toch ook eens de producten van Anastasia gaan proberen.

Klinkt echt heel erg positief! Ik vind dat wenkbrauwen best aanwezig mogen zijn, zelf ben ik een brildrager (af en toe) en dan mag het ook best aangezet worden want anders vallen mijn wenkbrauwen helemaal weg.

Ik heb hier al zoveel goeds over gehoord en gezien. Wat zien je wenkbrauwen er prachtig uit! Ik ben ook helemaal into the perfect brows de laatste tijd en ik dacht er misschien al aan om over te stappen van mijn geliefde anastasia poeder naar de brow wiz, maar voorlopig heb ik een no buy dus blijft het kwijlen bij foto’s als die van jou haha!
