For those of you that don't follow me on Instagram (honestly you should, 'cause I update it on a daily basis), you probably haven't seen me with my new hair yet in an outfit post. So this is the first outfit of the day post with me rocking my new fringe (in the meantime I already cut my hair in a lob, but oh well!). Anyways, I wanted to show you this outfit, because it's perfect for transitioning your outfits from Winter to Spring. I have a couple of tips and tricks about wearing items that are either too warm or too cold on their own, which is perfect if you want to mix your Winter and Spring clothes!
Tips For Transitioning Your Outfits from Winter to Spring
- Never, ever, ever remove your 'Winter' clothes from your closet. The key for a good Winter-to-Spring-outfit is keeping all your options open, which means you should not remove all your warmer clothes from your wardrobe. A skirt with a sweater, over the knee boots with a floral dress or a jacket with boyfriend jeans is perfect for those transitioning weather days.
- Pair longsleeve shirts with lighter coats. One of my favorite things to do when the weather is getting warmer is ditching my heavy coats. However, sometimes it can be still too cold to go for my leather jackets or trench coats. Therefore, the key to be able to rock them is by layering a thicker, longsleeve top underneath. You're welcome!
- Switch your darker clothing for whites, nudes and pastels. Even though I don't really wear a lot of color to begin with, I do like to switch black and darker clothing for lighter alternatives. Say bye to my dark wash jeans or black oversized jackets and hello to beige trenchcoats and light wash denim. This will make your outfit look Spring af, without compensating your warmth, haha!
