Petit Déjeuner in Paris (+ the Prettiest Apartment View Ever)

Petit Déjeuner in Paris (+ the Prettiest Apartment View Ever)

The smell of fresh croissants in the morning is one of those things anybody can appreciate. Who doesn’t like to start the day with a nice petit déjeuner? Especially if you are able to eat them while sitting in a window pain, listening to the sound of Parisiennes, while enjoying the view of La Tour Eiffel. If you follow me on my Instagram and Snapchat, you will already have seen the beautiful apartment I’ve been staying in these last couple of days. Now it’s time to show you where I’ve actually been staying all this time!

Located in the heart of the French capital, close to Musée du Louvre and Pont des Arts, this marvellous Sweet Inn Amiral De Coligny one bedroom apartment affords plenty of comfort in typically Parisian surroundings. I felt like a true Parisian when I was staying here to be honest! The central room consists of a lounge, dining area and a smartly equipped kitchen. The master bedroom has a picture window which overlooks the romantic cityscape. The bathroom is small, but consists of everything you possibly will need. This apartment has the best view I’ve ever have seen. You can literally see the Louvre, the famous Pont des Arts bridge ánd the Eiffel Tower from your window. So if you’re looking for an apartment with a great location and a stunning view, I would highly recommend Sweet Inn Amiral De Coligny!  In this bustling part of Paris everything is on your doorstep, from well-known sights to shops and restaurants. If you’re considering a trip to Paris, and you want to make sure you stay in the best area of the city, closest to all the sightseeing musts, this apartment is the way to go. And if you’re debating between an apartment or a hotel: Sweet Inn apartments actually have a great costumer service that’s always here for you if needed. They are actually the sweetest people and they made my stay even more pleasurable with them!

One of my favorite things when it comes to travelling is discovering new beauty products. I like to give myself and my skin a bit of pampering whenever I’m a trip, just because I usually have more time in the mornings and evenings than when I’m at uni. This time I decided to take some new products I received from Clarins with me on my trip to Paris. Clarins is based in Paris, so what better place to discover their beauty than in their home town? First of all, I’m totally obsessing over the Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. I remember almost all the bloggers and Youtubers hyping about this product years ago (yup, before I even was a blogger and Youtuber myself!). You can use this product as a brightening base or as a face mask. I’ve used it both ways and I loved it. It gives me that instant glow even if your skin lacks moisture after heavy duty plane travelling.

Speaking about travel friendly products: Clarins has loads of them. The Pore Perfecting Matifying Kit for example. This is a kit with a translucent pressed powder and a sponge and mirror – pretty straight forward. However, Clarins also added some blotting paper to this kit! I thought this was genius to be honest. I hate re-applying powder to my face when it’s oily, because I feel like I’m really blocking my pores that way. With this kit, you can actually remove the oil from your face first the blotting sheets, and then apply the powder afterwards. Perfect!

The last travel friendly product (which is pretty genius as well!) is the 4-Colour All-in-One Pen for Eyes & Lips. This looks like one of those pens we all had when we were kids: one pen that had different colors of ink in it that you could swap. This pen has the same concept, however, it contains black, brown and blue eye pencil and nude lip liner! Instead of taking four pencils, you know only need to bring one. Super innovative and really practical if you ask me.

Lastly, I finished the look with a lipstick from Clarins in the color 33 Joli Rouge, the 01 Intense Black mascara and the 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in the color 05 smokey (I only used the highlighter shade in my inner corner).

I used to have really bad skin due to hormones, I had to take some meds etc and may I say, Clarins has helped me not only fixed my bad complexion but also gave me a new beautiful one too. I have been receiving endless complements ever since. I use their cleanser first, and now most of my facial products are from them. They are my holy grail!

Much love from the other side of the world,
    Malaysia xx
