When it comes to my personal style, I often stick to monochromatic tones. My favorite shades to wear are blacks, whites, greys and neutrals - keeping it minimal! I especially enjoy wearing nudes and pastely shades, because I feel like they flatter my hair and skin tone. Now that the colder weather is here (it has been snowing the whole day in Washington DC!), wearing those types of colors does not seem very appropriate. However, in this blogpost, I want to show you that it is possible to wear nudes during the Fall and Winter time. So if you need some new inspo for your Fall and Winter wardrobe, definitely keep reading!

I have a couple of personal tips and tricks when it comes to wearing nudes in Fall and Winter. First of all, I recommend sticking to cooler toned nudes instead of warmer ones. Although I love my warm neutrals as well, I sometimes feel like they can look a bit off during the colder weather. That is why I recommend going for cool toned nudes, such as taupe and blush pink during this time of the year. Second of all, make sure that the nudes you're wearing are made from a thick material. Here, I'm wearing a soft cotton turtleneck from Topshop and a woolen MaxMara coat, that keeps me stylish, warm ánd toasty. Last but not least, make sure that your colder weather nudes have a typical Fall or Winter silhouette. Stay away from nude tees and crops, and rather opt for turtleneck sweaters, coats and sweater dresses. If you keep all these tips in mind, you will definitely kill that Fall/Winter nudes look! Not only does an all nudes outfit look very flattering and elongating on any body shape, it also makes you look expensive af. Wearing a nudes-on-nudes outfit makes you look like you have your whole life together.

This is such a beautiful outfit Lilia, and this has definitely inspired me to attempt to incorporate some nudes into my winter wardrobe (I am very much guilty of reverting back to a solely black and grey wardrobe in winter)!
