NEW IN| Adidas Superstar II Sneakers

I actually wanted to write something about my favourite facial cleansers in this post, but I didn’t manage to take all the pictures that I needed for that blogpost. I will be posting that next week instead. So today I have something different for ya and I think you will find it as interesting :). I was on a desperate hunt for a certain pair of sneaks that were sold out every fucking where. I checked every freaking online store at least a couple of times a weak, but it was like my size didn’t even exist in the first place. How can a pair of shoes be sold out for 4 months straight? Yeah, I literally don’t understand that, but okay. So which kicks am I talking about? Well, I’m talking about the amazing Adidas Superstar II and now they’re finally mine.

 

But how did I get them? Well, I saw a picture on the Instagram of Men@Work that said that they had restocked the Adidas sneaks. Of course I had to check it out immediately if they still had them in my size. And they did! I was so fucking happy, so I ordered them right at that moment. Best thing was that they would come in only 1 or 2 days, so I would be able to rock my new babies right after my exams were finished. But 1 day later, I get an email that they cannot deliver them in time and that it will take up at least 5 days. Okay, well, that sucks, but it isn’t such a big deal. But the next day, I get another email saying that they are sold out and they are cancelling my order. Like wtf dudes?! Get your stock organized or something! I was so devasted, because I thought that I finally got them, but I guess faith was just not on my side at that moment. It actually was, because randomly, I decided to check out the online store  Zalando and guess what: they still had the Adidas Superstar II in my size and they were €25 cheaper as well. Score! Moral of the story is don’t think too quickly that you are unlucky, ’cause your faith can turn around just as quickly ;).

 

I’m just so happy that these sneakers are finally mine! Lately, I haven’t been wearing a lot of kicks. I don’t know why, but I’ve been really into heels and boots, but these Adidas sneakers make me a sneakerhead all over again. I can’t wait to pair them with all the outfits that I made up ageees ago in my head, haha!

 

I do have to say that these Superstars II are bit different than to the Superstars that you usually see on Tumblr or something. This is a newer edition and that’s why it has a gold label + Superstar written in gold on it. I only saw this when I already ordered them and I was kinda sceptical about it. I loved the simplicity of these sneakers and I wasn’t digging the gold to be honest. Luckily, in real life it looks very subtle and it isn’t that noticable. I actually kinda like it even, because it makes them just a bit more unique!

 

I know these shoes are kinda hyped up at the moment, but to be honest, I always thought that they were dope. I love the oldskool vibe that they have going on, so as a big oldskool hiphop lover, of course I had to have them right? I love how white kicks look with acid wash jeans or with an whole all white outfit. They look very cool paired with a minimal outfit as well. They’re just timeless and very easy to combine with every piece of clothing in my opinion!

 

So that’s it for today’s post. I’m going to have a reaaaally lazy sunday, haha. Maybe I’m going to do some work, but I think today is going to be a pamper + foody + series + chilling in PJs kind of day. I need to be well-rested for a reason though, ’cause Monday is the day that I’m going to Amsterdam Fashionweek! I’m soooo excited about that, really can’t wait to see all the pretty clothing designs!
