The perfect pair of shoes can change everything. Putting on your favorite heels can make you feel like you can conquer the whole world. That is how I feel with my new Alexander Wang Avery Suede High Heel Sandal Designer Shoes. They are my newest addition to my designer shoes collection, and I could not be happier. Today I will be showing you my new babies + reviewing them as well!
I instantly fell in love with the Alexander Wang Avery Suede High Heel designer shoes. Why? Well, I am a big fan of mules, animal print, ánd Alexander Wang. You can thus imagine that this pair of shoes was the perfect fit for me. When I first saw them at the Intermix store in Georgetown, Washington DC, I almost bought them. However, I had this feeling that they would go on sale - so I waited. Fortunately enough, I was right: A couple weeks later, I bought them with 40% off during the Black Friday sale. Score!
The Alexander Wang Avery Suede High Heel designer shoes have a 11 cm block heel, which makes them super flattering on your legs, but still comfortable to wear everyday. They are made from a mix of suede, leather and velvet. Except for the beautiful velvet cheetah print, another element of this shoe that grabbed my attention is the heel. Part of Alexander Wang's signature when it comes to his designs is that he often incorporates a kind of mind-tricking aspect in his shoes. He always adds certain cut-outs or other interesting details to his shoes, making it almost seem like the heel of your shoes is "floating". The same counts for this pair of mules: The wrapped heel with rhodium metal plate seems to be almost detached from the rest of the shoe. And yes, that means that I often get the question from guys if my shoes aren't broken - great conversation starter, haha!
