If you had to choose a brand to describe yourself, which brand would you pick? This question was actually one of the things we had to think about during a Google workshop I had yesterday about personal branding. Although many people found it quite hard to pick a brand that would be a good representation of their personality, I instantly knew my answer: Alexander Wang. The only man in my life that deserves a special place in my heart (okay lol, I'm kidding). He has always been my favorite designer and designer brand. There's just something about his aesthetic, style and great quality that makes me fall in love with every piece of his collection over, and over again. It's edgy, yet feminine, has great, well-thought of designs and the collections just screams luxury to me. The same can be said about the Alexander Wang Small Rogue Satchel designer bag: the bag I will be showing and reviewing today!

THE BAG SPECS

The Alexander Wang Small Satchel that I have is in the color Heather Grey with Rhodium hardware and studs. Most of all, I love the beautiful design of this bag. First of all, it has an interesting folded construction and a 2-way top zip opening. This zipper is actually very shiny and big, making the bag look sporty yet luxurious. The zipper pull tabs fold down with concealed magnetic snaps at side gussets. This is a very nice and well-thought of detail, because it makes it easier for you to open the bag, without having two weird zipper ends sticking out!

However, the best design detail of this bag is the removable flat zipper pouch that is attached to the inside exterior front pocket with retractable cable feature. How smart is that?! I've never seen anything like this on a designer bag. This way, you are not only getting 2 bags instead of 1, but you will also know that your purse is always safe no matter what. If somebody tries to pickpocket you, they will be in for a big surprise once they realize you have a cable cord attached to your exterior zipper pouch/purse! The bag comes with a adjustable strap with shoulder patch and a signature dogclips with AW engraved to remove it.

The bag has luggage style seamless top handles and the iconic slim AW signature studs at the base. The inside of the back is made from a signature black and white woven lining with an additional zip pocket. It's made from a very soft and smooth leather (100% cowhide) and the measures are9"L x 7"H x 4"W with a 2.75" handle drop and 21.5" adjustable strap drop. And of course, last but not least, the bag comes with a nice dust bag too!

WOULD I RECOMMEND?

Yes, yes and yes: this bag is ultimate example of beauty meets brains - the beauty of the bag matches its functionality perfectly. I feel like this is one of the key things of Alexander Wang as a brand. Of course, this bag is not cheap, but you're definitely getting not only a great quality piece, but also an unique and well-thought of design. And that's worth something right!

Anyways, I love this bag a lot, and I would recommend it to anybody really. It may be not a very known and hyped up designer bag, but I love it even more for that reason. I just have a thing for Alexander Wang. I always go back to it, because there is just no other brand that has the same quality of designs as he does. So yeah, hope you enjoyed reading about this beauty of mine. Oh and can you now understand why I chose Alexander Wang as a brand to describe myself? 😉
