AMSTERDAM FASHIONWEEK S/S 2015

Hi!
Okay guys, be prepared, because this is going to be a loooong ass post. I thought, I could erase 90% of all the pictures I made and show you only a couple of beautiful clothing that I saw on the runway, or I could just post everything. Well option 2 it is haha. I didn’t want you to feel like you missed out on anything, so that’s why I decided to post a loooot of pictures. If you’ve been living under a rock or you haven’t read the title, this post is going to be about Amsterdam Fashionweek. I was there on Saturday and I went to 2 shows: SIS By Spijkers & Spijkers and Vibrant Pakistan.

Our journey started of in the train, travelling from Heiloo to Amsterdam. The train was really empty and quiet, so of course we had to make a lot of selfies, that’s self-explanatory right?
Because OPI was sponsering Fashionweek, they had set up a nailbar where you could do your nails. So awesome! Okkie went for a pretty red colour that matched her dress and I added some pink and gold glitters to my already white nails.
The first show I went to was SIS By Spijkers & Spijkers. I won tickets for it on Instagram, so thankyou We Fashion for this amazing opportunity! I really liked they’re clothes, especially their huge oversized coats and their use of leopard print.
I totally fell in love with this dress. I love the leopard on the side. Spijkers & Spijkers used this leopard often in their designs and I thought it was so cool! It would look amazing with a pair of sneakers in the summer, damn.
The girl in the blue dress is Liza Schwab. Kinda random, but I know her, we’re from the same small village. She’s such an amazing model now, it’s funny how things go in life.
After the show finished we had to go home. Well, that was the initial plan, because we only had tickets for one show. We end up socializing with cool peeps for a looong time and went to this small clothing exhibition. I don’t know exactly how it’s called, forgot… Stupid me, but anyways, it was kinda cool!
We managed to go to Vibrant Pakistan as well, despite the fact we didn’t have any tickets, yay! And I ended up sitting second row, how freaking cool is that?! I was really happy that I was able to go, because it was such a beautiful show. The first show was called Rang Ja and there were 3 shows in total (and a part of dancing in between as well). It was really cool, because the first model arrived in a tuktuk on the runway. How awesome is that!
This kimono was one of my favourite pieces. I love the movement of the fringe at the bottom, it looks so pretty! Yeah, I would love to have this piece hanging in my closet haha.
I loved the skull at the back of this piece. Really sugarskull-ish.
Just look at how beautifully decorated these clothingpieces are… So much work, like damn! This is real eyecandy! I just love it when clothes are so amazingly decorated and embroidered.
The second show was called BareezΓ© Man. And as the name already says, it was the clothingcollections for males. The models were soo hot haha!
I thought it was really cool they had helmets as accessories. And how awesome is that blue backpack? Really badass if you ask me!
After the second show there was a dancing act.

It looked really pretty, especially with the lighting. It wasn’t the most amazing dance performance I’ve ever seen or something, but it was nice to watch, good entertainment.

The last show, Made of Pakistan, was clothing for women and men. It was really cool to see the models walk in real life. It’s so different than on tv or something. You can really see them work the runway if you know what I mean haha! No definitely an amazing experience.
And that was already the last show! I really had a good time at all of them.
I also met a couple of bloggers during Fashionweek (Tara, Rowan, Alexandra & Merel), it was really nice meeting everybody!
That were a lot of pics huh? So much work to edit them al haha! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed seeing this huge amount of eyecandy! I’m also gonna post my Amsterdam Fashionweek outfit soon, if you’re interested. Have a good day today guys!
