Moving abroad is no joke. There are a lot of preparations you need to do before you are actually ready to start your journey in another country. Having an accomodation to stay, fixing your passport or visa and getting your courses approved by the board – these are just a couple of things you need to take care when you want to study abroad. Another thing that is quite the struggle is how to pack your suitcase for studying abroad. There is a lot of information to be found when it comes to packing your suitcase for a short trip or a Summer holiday, but when it comes to packing your suitcase for a semester or year abroad I could not find a lot of useful tips. In this blogpost + video I will share all my tips for packing your suitcase when you are going on an Erasmus+ exchange. I also created a Study Abroad Packing List printable you can download for free!
This academic year was my first year as a double degree student. After finishing my Bachelor in Laws (LL.B. in Dutch Law), I decided that studying only law was not going to make me happy. I rediscovered my love for philosophy due to a course of Philosophy of Law that I took previous year, and from that moment I knew I was hooked. So this year, I started with the Bachelor Philosophy Of A Specific Scientific Field (B.A.), and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Why?
After many brain storming sessions, late nights, and tons of soy latte macchiatos I can finally announce the biggest project I’ve ever worked on: My own Supplied by Lily Student Stationery collection is out now! I created a stationery collection that was especially designed for students ánd had the aesthetics of a luxury brand. I can’t believe that after all the months of hard work the collection has finally launched. The collection consists of 5 different items and in this blogpost and new video I am going to show you everything!
Hey guys, happy Monday! I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but I’m happy the weekend is over and it’s a start of a new week. I had a pretty weird weekend – kind of chill yet fucking stressful at the same time. Being ill, tired and having some bad luck is just not a good combination to be honest: think of handing in your peer review paper deadline at 23.59 and re-uploading this new Law School Vlog #32 for 3 (!) times, because Youtube had some mysterious issues. The worst part was that the university library was already closed, so I had to stand outside (freaking cold) and waited 1 hour before I finally fixed everything (my internet at home is crappy). Fortunately, everything ended up being okay, so you can imagine I feel very happy about sharing this new vlog about redecorating my loft apartment & my school advice to you today!
New week, new me? This Monday I’ve realized that we are almost halfway through 2017. How crazy is that, honestly? I feel like 2017 has definitely been quite the year for me. Although some amazing things have happened to me this year, I still feel like I would not call this year a ‘good’ year. I had and still have some major challenges ahead of me and it makes me feel rather anxious – while not being a naturally anxious person at all. Anyways, one of the things that keeps me going this year is constant change (pretty paradoxical isn’t it). I keep wanting to reinvent myself and find new ways to express my feelings, thoughts and mindstates. On that note, I made a rather different Law School Vlog #31 this time and also switched up my blog layout a bit. Hope you like it!
