I’m opening up to you. It may seem pretty obvious – being a blogger and vlogger for over 2 years – you would expect that I would have shared so much with you already. Of course, I do share a lot on the internet, but there’s a big difference between showing you my personal life or my personal thoughts. And that last thing is what I’m planning on doing today, hence I’m really opening up to you this time. In this first official episode of Philosophy with Lily – or Phililyphy – I’m talking about my view on law of attraction and sharing my bullying story as well. Using the law of attraction definitely made me a stronger, more confident and better person and I’m proud to admit that. So yeah, if you’re interested in me getting all close up and personal with you, grab some hot coco and check out my new video down below.
One of the most asked questions I get from you guys is how I stay so organized. Organization comes very natural to me – I love a clean room, a visually pleasing atmosphere and neat notes. That’s why I wanted to share 5 tips for staying organized for a law school/university student. I use these tips myself on an everyday basis, so hopefully they can have a positive impact on your life too!
I’m proud. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever been so proud of myself as I am right now. I can certainly say this is the proudest achievement of my life: receiving my Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree. 3 years ago, I moved from a small town near Amsterdam to Groningen to study law at the University of Groningen. I was an insecure girl, scared of leaving everything behind and starting in a city far away from home and my friends.
One of the most asked questions I get is how I stay motivated. Although I’ve talked about motivation before, I really felt like I needed to touch down on this topic once more. Most of you know that I’m a full time law student (just started my second half of the first semester of my Research Master in Law), a philosophy student, running my own two businesses, while maintaining a social life and a healthy lifestyle. So how do I do it? What’s my secret to stay motivated? Well guys, I’m going to give you a very personal and non-typical explanation for how I stay motivated, even through hard times.
This Monday, things are getting serious again. My little break from school is over and instead of the usual 2 subjects I have every period, my uni decided to turn up, which means that I have now 3 freaking courses I need to study for. One of them is Law and Economics and I already despise it. Anyways, because it’s time to be serious again ánd it’s Monday, today is the perfect day for a new blogisode of Monday Matters. In this Monday Matters episode I’m going to talk about Charlie Hebdo. I think this is a sensitive hot topic, so I really wanted to share my thoughts with you.
