COOKING SWAG: HEALTHY FRUITY WATER

Hi there!
I have another Cooking Swag blogpost for you today. I think you guys enjoyed my previous recipe (click!), so that’s why I already have another one for you. This time I’m gonna talk about healthy fruity water. It’s just water combined with some fruits/veggies/herbs, which gives it a nice(r) taste. It’s also easy to make and it looks really cute in a water dispenser/glass/bottle/Mason jar. So you can definitely take nice pictures for your Insta with this recipe haha ;). If you’re interested in how I made this healthy fruity water, keep reading!

This is what you need. First of all, you need to choose something where you wanna make your fruity water in. This could be anything, but I choose to use my water dispenser from the Hema, because I wanted to make a shitload of this, so that I would have to drink it all in one day. I finished it one day, ’cause I don’t know how long you can keep it, I would say maximum 1-3 days, if you put it in the fridge? I’m not sure though, I would drink it all up in one day! You could also use a smaller container/glass if you want to make less of it.
I used a handful of raspberries, a half of a lemon, a quarter of cucumber and 3 kiwis. You can vary with the amount of the ingredients, I just happen to have a lot of kiwis when I made this. And yes, it’s totally fine to eat some of it, I couldn’t resist the urge as well, haha. The more ingredients you use, the stronger the taste of the water will be. I filled my whole water dispenser, which is around 3.8 liter. I like my fruity water to taste pretty strongly, so if you like that as well, this is the right amount to use.
I just cut the fruits in some pieces, there’s no special technique or something!
Yum, this makes me hungry, looks so good! After you’ve cut all of the ingredients, you can fill your container with water and add all of the good stuff in it. Then you need to shake it like a polaroid picture, haha!
And this is the finished result! Doesn’t it look really pretty and tasty?
Pour it up baby! Of course, the water will still taste mostly like water (it isn’t a smoothie or anything), but it’s definitely not as boring as it is without the fruits! I’m definitely gonna make this more often, especially during those hot summer days!
So so pritty!
I hope you found this blogpost helpful and that it inspired you to drink more water! I literally never drink water, despite the fact it is so important. I really need to work on it, but I think this recipe makes it a bit easier for me. Especially if you make it in a water dispenser, because then you can refill your glass way easier. Please let me know if you tried it out and what you thought of it! Have a nice sunday guys!
