DIPTYQUE CANDLES

DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGERHi!

One of my favourite things to do is burning a candle after I’ve finished all of the stuff that I needed to do that day. There’s just something peaceful about a nicely scented candle, don’t you think? Well, today I wanted to talk about my favourite candles ever, the Diptyque candles. They’re a big hit in the blogger world and I totally get it. Not only do they look freaking pretty, they also smell a-ma-zing. So in this blogpost I’m going to show you my little, but very pritty Diptyque collection!

DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGERIf you aren’t familiar with Diptyque candles, you’ve been living under a rock. They’re luxiourious, scented candles from the French brand Diptyque. It’s pretty hard to get them, but in The Netherlands you can buy them at Skins (and you can find them online as well). They also make fragrances and other perfumed items, which smell all very good. I think the best way to describe them is to say that they are the more chique and expensive version of Yankee candles. Their scents are also a bit more exclusive and harder to describe, haha. I have 5 mini sized and one big sized Diptyque candle.

DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGER For Christmas I got this very cute Diptyque mini candle set. It contained 5 different scented candles and I have to say, the all smell sooooo freaking good! Don’t take me wrong, I love my vanilla candles from Action & Kruidvat, but these candles smell definitely like something else. It’s hard to explain, but I think the best way to describe the difference is to compare it to a very expensive perfume versus a crappy, cheap-ass fragrance. My two favourite scents are Pomander and Opopanax (such hard names haha!). They smell kinda bakery and vanillary, which I love! So if you want to splurge on a candle, definitely try those two, because they’re my fave!

DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGER DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGERDiptyque candles are also the perfect decoration for your home. I love styling them with my other home decor items. They just add something cosy to every room if you ask me. And I also love the minimal and simple logo of Diptyque. And definitely re-use them after you’ve burned them! You can use them as brush holders, which most peeps do. The small candles are perfect for storing your rings (and it’s pretty original as well). I’m still not sure if I’m going to burn them, they are just way too precious for me. I know, this sounds kinda dumb, buying candles but not burning them. I do have to say though, these candles smell already very strongly without burning them. And I love using them as decoration.

DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGERFor Sinterklaas (Dutch Christmas) I also got a big Baies candle. This one smells just like fresh berries, soooo good <3. It’s especially nice to burn it in the summer. Most people only burn candles in the winter, but burning candles in the summer is just as relaxing if you ask me.

DIPTYQUE CANDLES CANDLE INTERIOR LIFESTYLE BLOG BLOGGERSo yeah, that’s it for today’s blogpost. I just don’t have to say that much about candles, haha. They’re way more photogenic in my opinion ;). Would you ever consider spending money on expensive scented candles, or do you think it’s wasting money? Would love to know! Anyways, I hope you have a wonderful day today and I will talk to you tomorrow, with a really cool review ;).

What an inspiring arricle full of love – am strolling through so many diptyque posts the whole day to figure out which sents are the beloved ones. Sounds crazy but I want buy the most fabulous sent when I am in paris soon and cant decide.I deeply fell in love with the amber sent which in my opinion is more of an atumnal sent. So I thought of the baies on for summer. But I am not sure, should I buy the standard size or the big black one – hard decisions. Or the home spray? Mhh maybe I should stop by and chose what I adore the most. How do you like the sprays? I thoughtabout the baies spray for summer cause I am the one who burn candles mostly around September till April 🙂 But when you say you like the pomaner I should sniff it when in Pariii I like these warm woody sents so much

I think the best thing is just to smell all of them! I love Baies in the summer, especially because it’s so sweet. xo
