My number one essential for Spring is a pretty floral dress. Even if you're not into floral prints or you don't like to look like a girly girl, a floral dress is still essential for your wardrobe. Now that the weather is finally getting better in the Netherlands (thank the lord hallelujah), I can finally pull out my favorite floral dress from H&M and enjoy some delicious smoothie bowls and almond cappuccino at one of my favorite vegan hotspots in Groningen called Anat (you can read more about this vegan hotspot here).
My favorite red lipstick is the Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in the color Thrill Seeker (here). It's that perfect orange-toned red that makes a huge statement (even if you keep the rest of your make-up simple). It also lasts incredibly long, so it's perfect to wear if you're planning on grabbing some lunch!
I love grabbing some lunch at Anat Groningen: their smoothie bowls are my fave!
So when it comes to styling floral dresses, I always try to accomplish two things: first of all, I always try to elongate my legs. Especially when it comes to wearing dresses with bare legs. I don't have skinny model legs unfortunately, so any pair of shoe that can help me in that department is welcome. I went for these pointy toe nude ankle boots from H&M to achieve that effect. Pointy toe shoes + nude colors always make your legs look longer! Another thing that I wanted to do with this outfit, is show you it's possible to wear a girly dress in a not-so-girly way. I added this very distressed denim jacket to give the outfit a more edgy vibe, and I love how it turned out!
