How are you doing guys? Today I’m going on vacation with a group of Honours College students! I’m going to Thessaloniki, Greece, for the next couple of days. That’s why I’m not going to post a Sunday video this weekend, hope you understand! I’m also going to be a lil’ bit less active on social media, but you can still expect blogposts, because I pre-planned them :). At the moment I’m travelling from Groningen to Schiphol Airport and then we’re going to Thessaloniki, so exciting! I’m so happy that I’m going to be in a warmer country these next couple of days. I’ve been really into the Spring mood lately and now I’m able to wear some Spring appropriate outfits, finally. I’m also gonna vlog this whole trip, so be prepared for a lot of beautiful shots in next week’s video! Anyways, in today’s post I’m going to show you my favourite rose gold items. I’ve accumulated quite the stash of rose gold items over the past years, so in this blogpost I’m going to show you my favourite fashion & lifestyle pieces. Enjoy!
ROSE GOLD JEWELLERY
Let’s start off with the most obvious one, jewellery. My first rose gold piece of jewellery was my Michael Kors watch. It’s now 2 years old and I still wear it every single day as my daily armcandy. I think it’s just soo beautiful and timeless! This Christmas I got another Michael Kors piece to add to my collection, and that’s the necklace on the far right. It’s the Michael Kors Pavé Rose Gold-Tone Pendant Necklace (long ass name) and I think it’s a very beautiful dainty & minimalistic necklace. I love to layer with it, especially with the necklace in the middle. It’s from & Other Stories and it has a little marble stone in it. Combined with rose gold, it’s my favourite combination ever!
ALEXANDER WANG GABI BOOTIE WITH ROSE GOLD
The love of my life. Or nah, the shoe of my life (I hope I will end up with more than just a shoe when it comes to my love life, haha). I’m talking about the Alexander Wang Gabi Bootie with Rose Gold (long ass name 2.0). Alexander Wang is my favourite designer ever and these shoes were one of my favourite pieces. When I saw it in the sale, I knew I had to get them. They were sold out freaking everywhere, so finding them on sale + in my size had to be a sign. I wear these shoes now every week and I have no regrets!
ROSE GOLD HOME DECOR
The theme of my room is white, marble and, surprise surprise, rose gold. I think every home decor item that’s rose gold looks 394394 times cooler, instantly. Especially when it’s paired with white and marble. On my window pane I have a little rose gold collection going on with this frenchie, basket & 2 vases. I actually DIY’ed the frenchie & the 2 bottles. I spray painted them rose gold and I think it looks awesome. The basket is from H&M Home and I use it to store all of my Yankee candles <3.
ROSE GOLD BASKET
Despite the fact this is also an interior/home decor item, I still wanted to mention separately, just because I’m so obsessed with them and I already own 4 different ones. I’m talking about rose gold baskets. This basket is a different one than the one you saw in the picture. I keep my books + CDs in it. I got it from Men@Work and i think it looks amazing paired with an all white interior! I love these kinds of baskets, because they look very stylish and are really practical as well!
ROSE GOLD FRENDS HEADPHONES
My rose gold Frends headphones were one of the first items that started my rose gold craze phase (ha-ha). I got them for my birthday 2 years ago and although I don’t wear them that often, I still think that they’re beautiful. They look more like jewellery than like headphones and that’s what makes them amazing. I’m taking them with me to Thessaloniki, so expect an outfit with them very soon! In the picture I also used some other fashion & lifestyle rose gold items.
So that’s it for today’s blogpost. I hope my flight is going well and that I arrive safely with all of my friends in Greece.
