Hi!
It’s haul time! Today I’m going to show you all of the shit that I got during my trip to Portofino. Well, that’s a bit confusing, because the title clearly states ‘Milan shopping’. Let me explain! I went to Portofino with my mom and her boyfriend, but we ended up missing our plane to Holland. The airport was in Milan, so we decided to stay one more night there. And of course, some shopping had to be done! I didn’t have the chance to explore Milan properly, but shopping wise, it’s an amazing city. In one street, you have all the expensive stores like Dior, Chanel and Burberry, while in another street, you have shops like Sephora, Pull & Bear and & Other Stories. Awesome! I was especially excited for & Other Stories, because I heard great things about that place, but I’ve never had the chance to visit it. So if you’re interested in all the things that I got, keep on reading!
Well, let’s start with the most exciting stuff, shall we? In Milan it was the first time I’ve ever visited a & Other Stories store. It was really big and we didn’t have so much time, so I ended up with only this. But damn, they’re clothes are the perfect example of normcore and I loved all of their body products. Anyways, the first thing that I got is this rose gold, dainty bracelet. I think it goes perfectly with all of my other bracelets, especially because it’s rose gold. And you know I love my rose gold!
The next (rose gold) thing that I got is a necklace. I not only dig it because it’s rose gold, I also loved the fact that it has such an interesting, geometrical shape. Together with the black and white gem it makes it look really minimalistic or something. And I’m pretty into minimalistic stuff, with the normcore trend going on and stuff. I think this necklace is the perfect addition to my other gem necklaces!
The last thing that I got at & Other Stories is this Face Contour Cream. I saw it on a couple of beautyblogs and I immediately caught my eye. I have the least prominent cheekbones ever + I’m very pale + I’m neutral/pink toned, so it’s really hard for me to contour + find the right contouring shade. Well guys, I have to say, this shit is freaking awesome. I’m not gonna talk to in depth about it, because I’ll be definitely review the crap outta this one (lol just kidding 1 review, haha).
Next up I went to Sephora. Ooh, what do I love Sephora. I still can’t believe that the Sephora fucking closed in Holland. Like wtf, aren’t people wearing expensive make up here or something at all, haha? When I got at Sephora, I really wanted to buy the Urban Decay Naked 2, because it was the last palette to complete my collection. I ended up not buying though, just because I felt like it wasn’t fair to buy so many make up products in one year. So next year, when I’m on holidays, I’m going to buy Naked 2 and complete my collection (by that time there are probably already 294294 new Naked palettes out, but fuck that). I did buy something though, and that’s the famous Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original. I think this eyeshadow primer is one of the best primers out there. I used to have a sample size of it and I really loved it. So I was like, well, I own a lot of eyeshadow now, but I don’t have a good primer? That needs to change! So yeah, that’s why I got it.
The last make up related thing that I got is this Natural Concealer from Kiko in the colour 01 (of course, the lightest colour). It has a really pinky undertone, which makes it perfect for me, because I have a pink/neutral undertone. I thought it would work especially well if I would mix it with some of my more yellow based concealers.
Now onto the clothing part! I’m sorry for the picture, but it’s so freaking hard to photograph clothing. I really need to step my game up and think of another way to take photos of clothes (any tips are welcome!). Anyways, I got these white, ripped mom jeans, a faux leather skaterskirt and an off-white high neck croptop from Pull & Bear. Pull & Bear is definitely one of my favourite stores ever. I told before, but they’re jeans are just freaking amazing. I wanted a pair of white, ripped mom jeans for ages, and I actually scored these ones for only €8!! I know, that’s crazy, so freaking cheap!
Okay, I actually didn’t get this in Milan, but I got it through a giveaway from Dascha from It’s Dash! So thankyou so much for choosing me! It’s this Aveda Smooth Infusion Naturally Straight cream. You apply it in damp hair and it promises to leave your natural hair straight (especially in combination with a blowdryer and a flat iron). Sounds good right? I will be reviewing this product, if you’re interested!
And that’s the end of this haul! I actually have one more haul coming up for you (I know, it’s really bad, I love shopping just a bit too much), but that one contains a lot of online shopping. I’ll be uploading that one next week. It’s just the new season you know. Season change always makes me want to get even more stuff. At the moment I only have 2 things that I can’t get out of my head, and those are Adidas Superstars and some shopping at the Primark, haha. Well, maybe I’ll be adding those 2 things also to my haul… You’ll see, next week! Have a good weekend guys!
