One of the things I like to do now that the colder months are here is spend some time taking care of my skin. We can all use some treat yoself moments once in while, right? A little relaxation is something we can all really use, especially now that the stressful festive season has started. I've been focusing on getting clear skin for a while now and I think a lot of you have noticed. I got many questions from you guys asking me how I got rid of all my acne and acne scars after struggling with it for many years. So you can expect some more skincare related posts on my blog, starting with a lovely treatment I got in The Beauty District Groningen that definitely helped out my skin a lot.

The Beauty District is a new beauty salon in the city centre of Groningen (it's located inside Paruccies Hairstyling, one of my favorite hair salons). It has a cosy and modern atmosphere and the aesthetician Marije is really nice and makes you feel very comfortable. The Beauty District works with products from [ comfort zone], an Italian brand focusing on the more scientific side of skin care. Based on science and driven by passion, they have 3 different facial treatments, each targeting one specific skin problem.
After filling out a questionnaire about my lifestyle and skin, Marije thought it was best to go for the 60 minutes [ comfort zone ] Hydramemory treatment. This is a facial that is focused on hydrating your skin. Every product is applied in a massaging way, which makes the product more effective and relaxes you as well. Marije has also two different facial treatments, the Active Pureness for more acne prone skin (can't believe my skin is so clear now I don't have to do a facial like this anymore) and the Recover Touch (which is an anti-age treatment).
The 60 minutes [ comfort zone ] Hydramemory treatment starts with a Tranquillity welcome ritual. After that, you get a surface cleanse and a deeper skin cleanse. The next step is to remove all the impurities from the skin. Then the treatment will continue with a lovely massage, a hydrating mask and it finishes off with a serum and day cream.
I definitely had a great experience with this facial treatment, so I would definitely recommend checking The Beauty District Groningen out if you think you deserve some pampering! The price of the 60 minutes [ comfort zone ] Hydramemory treatment is €59,95 (they also have a 30 minute [ comfort zone ] Hydramemory treatment for €29,95). Except for facials, The Beauty District Groningen also has wax treatments and brow treatments.

Superleuk 🙂
Great article. I really love the article. You provide here all the details about beauty tips. I hope we can see more post like that?
Thank you for sharing this. One of the ultimate moisturizers that I’m using is vaseline petroleum jelly and planning to buy a new one soon, I might try some new ones.
I think you’ll be glad – they do grow so fast. Pretty soon it will be piggy backs, instead of on-the-hip.
No, they aren’t able to do band with their full course schedule. At their school, band is a class so they practice during the school day and not after school as a group. One of the boys hasn’t had a study hall all year (even opposite gym because of science lab). I don’t think they miss the practicing part. I keep hoping that they’ll pick something up on their own since they know the basics. One of them has a keyboard in his room and he does mess around with that (playing songs from the radio, etc). We had offered to get them private lessons if they wanted to but neither was interested in that. Too much like work!
