Recently I had to go to Amsterdam for some PR meetings and decided to go on a lil’ adventure. One of my favorite things about this city is the fact that there are so many hidden gems to be found there. I love strolling around cute neighborhoods and discovering new hotspots. So that’s what I did. I bumped into this place called The Cold Pressed Juicery, which was like literally heaven to me. Although I love smoothies, I’m the biggest juice drinking addict ever. If you know me, you’ll know that I’m always drinking juice. I can’t help it, I’m just totally obsessed with it (ever since I was a lil’ kid). So discovering a whole place filled with only juices made me really happy. I can’t wait to share my thoughts on The Cold Pressed Juicery Amsterdam with you!
LOCATION
The Cold Pressed Juicery has two locations in Amsterdam. I visited the one on Willemsparkweg 8, Amsterdam. They’re also located at Herengracht 245, Amsterdam. The location I visited was near the Museumplein, so not too far off from the city center. They’re open everyday (Monday – Friday 7.30-19.00, Saturday 9.00-18.00 and Sunday 10.00-18.00) so you can always take a visit.
THE DRINKS
We are raw. We are organic. We are cold pressed. Well, if that doesn’t make a trying-to-be-fit person’s heart beat faster, I don’t know what does. It was also pretty impressing to see such a big fridge filled with mostly juice. Like I would love to take them all with me, haha! I literally couldn’t choose which one I should take, so after some good advice from one of the people working there, I decided to go for The Reset. This baby contains orange, grapefruit, cucumber, lemon, ginger and cayenne and I really liked it. The cayenne was a bit strong tho, so you definitely felt it burn a bit (which was actually a good thing, ’cause I needed some extra energy that day). I can’t wait to try out another one (and maybe take home some granola the next time too!).

I think this place is just as I like my hotspots to be: cute interior, not too big and with an awesome concept. And the fact that everything you get is guilt-free is also great. I feel inspired or something just visiting it!
