One of the reasons why I love Groningen is all the hotspots you can find there. And the best thing is that new cool places are popping up every month! I have to say: I finally found THE CUTEST hotspot ever in Groningen. Yeah, I'm not kidding you, walking into this store is like being transported to a pink cloud filled with glitter and unicorns. Did I make you feel excited? Well you should! I'm talking about Little Lovely Living Groningen, an online and offline concept (they have two flagship stores in Groningen) with home, gifting and food items. And yes, they have those super Instagrammable milkshakes and hot chocolates!

THE LOCATION
Little Lovely Living Groningen has two locations in the city centre. I went to the one located at Westerhaven, which is the first and biggest flagship store they've opened. It's a great place to go if you want to have some refreshments after visiting Primark (yup, they're a one minute walk from each other!). The other store is located in the Herestraat, the main shopping street from Groningen. Therefore, both locations are very convient to visit!

THE SHOP
Little Lovely Groningen has a food and shop department. The Little Lovely Living shop includes series of popular lightboxes, unique word banners, garlands, all kinds of lights, and more seasonal home decorations. Everything is super cute and girly; you can find the nicest knick knacks and gifts here! I especially love the lightboxes though, and I can't wait to add one to my collection. You can also order the items online in their webshop!
THE FOOD
Time for the most important part: the food! I've only tried their chocolate milkshake, which was delicious. I wasn't a big fan of the marshmellows on top, but that's just a personal preference - I don't really like them in general. The coco milkshake was really filling and sweet, so don't come here if you're not a giant sweet tooth, haha. They also have hot coco, macarons, cupcakes and much more! Definitely a lovely hotspot in Groningen to check out, especially if you're looking for something sweet and Instagram-proof. 😉
