Obsessions. I have too many of them. But one of the latest and strongest that I have at the moment is my collection of MAC lipsticks. I’m even staring at them while writing this blogpost, ’cause these babies are just so damn gorgeous. Yes, I’m talking about lipsticks and yes, I know I sound like a weirdo, but hey, that’s the whole thing with obsessions right? It’s been a while since I’ve made a stash/collection blogpost, so I thought it would be appropriate to do one now. My MAC lipstick collection isn’t that big, but I’m very proud of it. I’m slowly expanding and my goal is to get 12 lipsticks, because my lipstick holder has 12 slots. Having empty slots doesn’t really go well with my OCD, haha. Anyways, if you’re interested in seeing which colours I own (+ some swatches!) keep reading :).

So yeah, as I already told you, I have 6 MAC lipsticks. I’ve collected them in a couple of years (5 years!), so it’s not like I buy them every week or something. It’s always a special occasion whenever I buy them! The container by the way is from Ebay and I got it from this seller if you’re wondering!

So let’s start! The first lipstick I want to talk about is MAC Diva. It definitely is a diva colour if you ask me! You need to have a lot of confidence to pull off a colour like this. It has a matte finish and it’s the perfect deep red colour. Most dark lipcolours are more purple/berry toned, which can be pretty, but I love the effect of true vampy red. This lipstick doesn’t have any purple to it, which makes it a very unique colour if you ask me. I think this could be my favourite lipstick (or my second favourite, haha).

The second lipstick is Relentlessly Red. I didn’t buy this one myself, ’cause I won it in a giveaway :). It has a retro matte finish and I’ve seen it everywhere lately. It’s a pretty popular colour! I would say that it is a toned down pinkish red with some coral to it. I wrote a whole review about this lipstick, so you can check it out here. I think this is a colour that would look good on a lot of skintones, because it’s bright, but not thát bright. If that makes any sense, haha.

Next up is All Fired Up! This is also a retro matte. As you can see, I really do love my matte lipcolours, haha! At first, it looks really similar to Relentlessly Red. Well, what can I say: it is kinda similar indeed. All Fired Up is just brighter and more orange-y than Relentlessly Red. I like to wear them both though. All Fired Up is a statement colour, while Relentlessly Red is more appropriate for chic occasions.

This is probably my favourite colour from MAC. Okay, no, it’s a tie together with Diva. How can I choose only one of these colours, while they’re both opposites right? It’s called Pure Zen and it has a cremesheen finish. This is the perfect nude-y/peachy colour ever. I use it the most out of all my (MAC) lipsticks. Again, it’s a very unique colour, because most nudes are or pinkish, or brownish. They’re usually not that peachy. This one definitely is though! I usually wear it together with the MAC Naked lipliner underneath it. If you want to read the whole review I did about this beauty, click here!

Now onto my limited edition MAC lipsticks. This lipstick was part of the Viva Glam collection and it’s called Gaga. Yes, it’s named after Lady Gaga and you can also see her signature on the tube. Really awesome! I love this colour, because it’s the perfect cool-toned Barbie pink. It’s a pretty hard colour to pull off (especially if you weren’t going for that Barbie look), but it is really pretty if you do it right. I don’t wear this colour that often, which is a shame, ’cause it’s so nice. Ooh and it has a Lustre finish.

And this is my last (yet first I ever bought) lipstick from MAC. I especially bought this one for the packaging (I know, that sounds really bad). I mean come on, how fucking pretty is this? The leopard detailing is just so awesome! It’s called Brave New Bronze and it has a satin finish. It’s a more of a brownish nude, which I usually don’t go for. Lately, I’ve been seeing brown nudes everywhere though, so I kinda feel inspired to wear this lipstick more often. It’s from the Style Warrior collection, which came out in 2009. Yes, now I feel old as fuck, haha.

And here are the swatches (sorry for the mini swatches, but I’m just very careful when it comes to my MAC beauties). From left to right: Diva, All Fired Up, Relentlessly Red, Pure Zen, Gaga and Brave New Bronze. Prettiness overload, I know.
When I took this pictures, I immediately knew that I had to make a gif with them. Look at how cool it turned out! I’m really happy with the result. Maybe I need to do this more often (if you like it)? ‘Cause I think it adds a special touch to my blog :). By the way, if you’re noticing that I’m writing a lot about beauty: that’s right. I have so many reviews and other beauty related articles that I wanted to write for ages, so that’s why I decided to post a couple of them. But don’t worry, this weekend I have a fashion video for you coming as well ;). By the way, if you have any recommendations for MAC lipsticks, let me know. At the moment I’m craving Lingering Kiss, Russian Red and Velvet Teddy. I’m off to a party now, hope you have a great night! What about you?
