When I got my invitation for the Paul’s Boutique Exclusive Style Blogger Event, I had no idea what to expect. It was the first time Paul’s Boutique had ever organised a Blogger’s event, so of course I was pretty excited. Let’s be honest: their bags are just amazing, so a Paul’s Boutique event had to be good right? With that being said, I didn’t expect too much, ’cause that’s just how I am, haha. But I was so wrong you guys, ’cause damn. Paul’s Boutique spoiled us with a blogger exclusive bag, specially designed for us! If that isn’t awesome, I don’t know what is. So in this blogpost I’m going to share my new beauty with you!
grey with a touch of yellow
The dresscode of this event was ‘grey with a touch of yellow’. I’m definitely not a dresscode kind of gal. I just like to wear whatever I want, whenever. And to be honest, I also thought the dresscode was pretty random too. After seeing this bag, I totally got it though! Although I’m not a bright colour person, I think the subtle hints of neon yellow in the lining of the bag look beautiful, without ruining the ‘class’ of the bag, if you know what I mean. It’s still a sophisticated and chique bag, even though it has some neon in it!
Time for some close-ups! The details of a bag can definitely make or break it for me personally. I love a bag that has well thought of details that are very practical as well. This bag for example has a nice zipper compartment where you can put all of your small belongings. It also comes with a longer strap and it has super handy buttons on the side of the bag to make it smaller or bigger. That’s the shit I do like, haha! And of course, we can’t forget about the pretty lining and the hints of neon yellow. Love it!
In my opinion, this is the perfect blogger bag. It’s big enough to fit your DSLR or Olympus Pen E-PL7 camera, a make-up bag, a big ass wallet, some random bits and bobs, notebooks and I can keep going forever. The bag doesn’t look too bulky though, due to its lovely structured shape. And the colour is also to die for and very versatile as well (it kind of reminds me of an YSL bag that I have been eyeing up for ages). I’m definitely obsessing over this bag like cray cray.
I really want to thank all the lovely PB team members for organising this awesome event. You make the already pretty amazing brand even more awesome! So yeah, I’m very curious about your opinion on this bag. I’ve already used it yesterday for my first day of law school. Although it didn’t fit my codex and I had to carry it around in my hands like I was showing it off – lol – it was totally worth it. I’m just in love with it, not gonna lie! Despite the fact it’s a blogger exclusive bag (Bethany Cranleigh Grey/Yellow), there is a very limited amount of this bag that you can buy yourself (check their FB for all the shops). Paul’s Boutique has a lot of other pretty bags though. You can check them out here. Happy shopping!
