Self-Portrait Petal Monochrome Mini Dress
Self-Portrait is by far one of my favorite designer brands when it comes to luxury dresses. Their dresses are truly one of a kind - from the high quality material to the intricate design, you can spot a real Self-Portrait dress from miles away. I'm going to be honest with you guys, almost everytime that I wear one of my Self-Portrait dresses, I get asked by a stranger where my dress is from. Due to the fact that their designs are so unique, I decided to bite the bullet (again), and purchase my fourth Self-Portrait dress. My collection currently consists of a beautiful all white Self-Portrait dress I got during my trip to Mykonos last Summer, a Self-Portrait ruffled burgundy red dress I wore on my 23rd birthday, and my favorite Self-Portrait baby blue dress I've worn to pretty much all my important events this year. I feel like this dress is completely different from the dresses I already own - it's more of an everyday dress that I can wear over, and over again!
The Self-Portrait Petal Monochrome Mini Dress is made from beautiful white floral guipure lace and sheer ditsy floral mesh, combined with a layer of nude mesh for reinforcement. The dress has a straight shift silhouette with pockets (yes, you read that right - pockets!) and has a cute black collar with a thin grosgrain ribbon.
You can find more info on this dress here. I got this dress on sale, but you can shop the Self-Portrait Petal Monochrome Mini Dress here for $349 (it's discouned as well!).

THE STYLING
When it comes to the styling of this dress, I wanted to keep things relatively simple. This dress is already such an eye catcher, it doesn't need a lot of help to make it stand out. I also didn't want to add any colors that would potentially distract from the black and white look I love so much about this dress. I combined this dress with one of my favorite pairs of over the knee boots from TJ Maxx. They are from the brand Sartro, and they are super comfy. Because the heel is a bit lower than my usual go-to heel, I can literally walk around them all day without my feet getting hurt. Furthermore, I also added my newest designer bag purchase, which is the Alexander Wang Marion bag (yes, a review blogpost will be up very soon!). This bag reminds me of a mini doctor's bag, which is in my opinion super cute. I also am obsessed with the rose gold accents of this bag, and even though it's rather small, it actually fits a lot - even my camera!

Ahh wat een mooi en tof jurkje Lilia! Als je de webshopafbeelding ziet, ziet hij er best tuttig en saai uit, maar als je hem aanhebt vind ik hem echt heel leuk! 🙂
