It’s pretty cray cray to admit this, but I actually haven’t been shopping that much lately. I guess it’s one of the perks of working in the (fashion) blogging business: you get send over so much stuff every week, you don’t even feel the need to spend your own money on clothes. With that being said, there’s something really amazing and therapeutic (retail therapy for life!) about shopping and spending the money that you worked so hard for yourself. I was always very picky about spending my money. I only buy things that are ‘perfect’ in my opinion, but since my blog I got even more picky. But, today I do have a lil’ haul or new in blogpost for you guys with my 2 newest purchases. And yeah, it’s sounds pretty random, but I actually bought 2 faux fur coats in one day. You’re a Russian girl or nah, haha!
When I saw these two faux fur babies hanging at the sale section at Zara, I HAD to get them. It was like love at first sight, we we’re meant to be. Because I couldn’t choose between them, I decided to buy both the faux fur coats. Yeah, pretty ridiculous, but I just have a weak spot for everything soft and fluffy! I love the tan/orange coloured coat, because the fur is very soft and I think the colour is really vibrant and unique too. It also goes well with my skin tone and hair colour. I feel like a little fox when I’m wearing it (and it looks a-ma-zing paired with some leopard print too). The other coat is a bit more oversized and ‘big’. It really has that vintage or oldskool feeling going on. I think the pattern of this fur is very pretty and I like the longer hair of the fur too. So although these coats are both faux fur ones, I still think they are very different and I’m glad I got them both. Best thing: they were only €40 each, which is a super good deal for these well-made coats. So yeah, can’t wait to show you them on! <3
What do you think of faux fur coats?
