I’m writing this blogpost at 1.30AM at night, after I had a great last day in New York City. I made so many unforgettable memories today. First of all, I loved spending these last couple of days with my mom. Because we’re both very busy (I got my workaholic lifestyle from her lol), I don’t see her as often as I would like. Spending q-time with her in New York is one of the best things ever. Second of all, I did some majoooor shopping. I didn’t buy a ‘lot’ of things, but I decided to splurge on two Alexander Wang designer items and a new pair of Gentle Monster sunnies (my favorite sunglasses brand EVER). I don’t want to spoil too much now (I’m going to dedicate two separate blogposts on these two beauties!), but they’re black, rose gold and pretty visible in this picture, haha. I waited so long to buy the perfect designer item to add to my lil’ collection. I’m very glad I decided to buy these two pieces in NYC, because they will remind me of the memories I made here, everytime I wear them. Last but not least, I got a new piercing. I heard great things about the piercing and tattoo shop New York Adorned, so I knew I had to get my next piercing there. It’s a helix piercing in my left ear and I love it! I picked out a pretty rose gold ring and although my ear hurts now, it was worth it. And yeah, I will also dedicate another blogpost on that one 😉
On that note, this is the end of my little NYC Diaries series. Tomorrow (or should I say today, my alarm is going in about 5 hours, fml) I’m travelling to Washington D.C. for my Honours College Summer School about Energy Law. It’s a research project about microgrids and it’s pretty difficult stuff. Luckily – besides from writing our paper – we will have enough spare time to discover Washington as well. Can’t wait!

Fab new items! En een helix is tof, heb er zelfs twee gehad. Hoop voor jou dat hij snel en goed geneest! Wat een fijne herinneringen aan zo’n trip. Ik hou er ook van om dan wat speciaals te kopen, dan is het zoveel specialer dan wanneer je het in Nederland koopt 🙂
