Good morning! Today I’m showing you my second New York City outfit on my blog. In this outfit blogpost I’m wearing some items I’ve purchased during my stay in NYC too. Shopping in New York is pretty amazing, let me tell you that! If you know me, you’ll know I’m loving the nude trend at the moment. I love to wear nude on nude outfits, but this time I wanted to try something else: mixing nude with khaki. Khaki is a color I just recently got into. I used to think khaki was kind of a ‘mweh’ color, but now I’m starting to appreciate it!
The only colors I like to wear are muted or pastels. I don’t like bright colors and you’ll never find me wearing any too. I think the nude bodysuit and the khaki cigarette pants (I both got them at the NYC Topshop) are an unique color combination. I’m a fan! I definitely want to add more khaki colored items to my wardrobe now, especially because it looks so good with blush, nudes & tans!
At the moment I’m packing my bags. Today is my last day in Washington DC and in the afternoon I’m flying back to reality – uhm – I’m meant home. These last 10 days felt like a bliss and I definitely had time to take a break from my regular stressful life and feed my inner travel spirit. NYC & DC have treated me well and hopefully we can meet again soon.
