Lace-up this, lace-up that… If there’s one trend that I’m really digging at the moment, it’s definitely lace-up everythang. Lace-up items are sexy, but have something laidback about them at the same time too. Anyways, I’m liking this trend a lot lately. When I saw this beautiful lace-up dress online, I immediately had to send it over to my digital shopping basket. How pretty is this dress right? I can’t wait to show you all of the pictures I took with it!
I made these outfit photos on the porch of my university building. I don’t know why, but this outfit has definitely some O.G. student vibe going on for me or something, haha! The lace-up dress that I’m wearing in this outfit is from Choies. It has the perfect length for me (most dresses are way too long!) and I love the fact that the lace-up is not too deep – you can still wear a normal bra under it. The black coat that I’m wearing is from Zara, and it is one of my most worn coats at the moment. To add a bit more warmth to this ootd, I also wore my grid scarf from Monki.
Accessories time! For this outfit, I went for a gold + patent themed look (kind of unintentional even, anyways). The patent loafers are from Zara, my patent leather + suede bag is from Paul’s Boutique and my black fedora is from River Island. I think all these items go great together!

I would love to know what you think of this dress and the lace-up trend in general! By the way, for all my Dutchies: how was your ‘pakjesavond’? I actually didn’t celebrate Sinterklaas, but I had a great day with my mom. We did a lil’ bit of interior shopping (that’s what happens when two interior junkies are together…), decorated my first own Christmas tree and had a nice dinner at a restaurant in Groningen. So what about you guys?
What do you think of the lace-up trend?
