I’ve seen them around for a while now, but I just wasn’t into the button-up (or button-down?) skirt trend. It was just a bit too seventies for me. I have to say, after seeing this pretty nude suede button-up skirt, I was sold immediately. This is definitely the nicest one I’ve seen so far (no thanks for denim button-ups). I’m not really a skirt kind of girl, except when it comes to the Winter season. I’m always on the lookout for skirts that I can wear with some tights and booties. Although I usually prefer black skirts (I feel like lighter coloured skirts look weird with black tights), because of the suede texture, this skirt is perf to wear with some black tights too. Love it!
So the skirt that I’m wearing is from Choies. Definitely recommend that site if you’re on the lookout for some trendy yet affordable pieces! I thought it would be cool to mix and match some neutrals in this outfit, so I decided to go for my camel coat from Mango and a long sleeve turtleneck from Primark.
In my opinion, accessories can really make or break your look. I love adding unique items to my outfit to make things more interesting and fun. That’s why I combined a pink fluffy fur bag, my Alexander Wang Gabi booties and my new tortoise printed sunnies from Polette together. I think these items look super pretty, don’t you agree?

I definitely think skirts like these are the most flattering on my body shape. They kinda look like cheerleader skirts, if you know what I mean! I’m sure that I’m going to rock this skirt a lot this Winter. I think it would look very cute with a big chunky knit too! What do you think of my new skirt?
