My new favourite layering piece for Fall has to be the sleeveless trenchcoat. Although are sleeveless trenchs or coats super trendy at the moment, they can be tricky to style. If paired wrong, it can make you look bulky, which is a not so flattering look I would like to stay away from. But if you wear this item the right way, you will fall in love with it. I can promise you that. The outfit that I’m wearing today is perfect for transitioning from Summer into Fall weather. Despite the fact I’m rocking bare legs, this outfit will still give you enough warmth during the early Fall days.
I decided to pair the sleeveless blazer with a playsuit from Ax Paris. I think the combination turned out lovely. I really dig how contrasting the print is with the beige colour of the coat and the long sleeves of the playsuit together with my bare legs. It’s all about mixing and matching items in a cool and unique way. That’s what truly creates a ‘personal style that’s different in my opinion.
I also wanted to add a couple of awesome accessories to this look. First of all, my black fedora hat from River Island. This hat screams Fall & Winter to me. I can’t wait to start wearing it loads again! I also decided to pair this outfit with my beloved black Paul’s Boutique bag. I think it instantly gives this outfit that extra something something, if you know what I mean. Lastly, I added my daily armcandy and my beautiful sunglasses from Gentle Monster.
So, what’s my sneaky little tip for rocking bare legs during the Fall without freezing to death? Okay, this won’t work when it’s freezing literally, but you get the point. My trick is to add some thick socks in your ankle booties. These HUF socks are super warm, so although my legs are bare, my feet aren’t cold at all. And I don’t know if this is scientifically proven, but if your feet are warm, your whole body stays warm as well (or at least, that’s what my momma told me). The booties that I’m wearing are also super cute. I got them from Sacha and what I love about them is the fact that they are comfy, stylish and timeless, all at the same time. I think every girl needs a pair of pistol booties like these. I just love them :).
So what do you think of this outfit? Are you going to get a sleeveless trench too now? I can’t wait to pair it for the colder Fall/Winter days as well. I have so many cute outfit ideas in my head, just not the time + the right weather. Struggle is real, haha!
