While in the rest of Holland it’s above 0 degrees Celcius, here in Groningen it’s snowing. It wasn’t even snowing when I visited Russia during my Christmas break, so you can imagine that I was surprised seeing the streets turn into a white wonderland in only one night. Although it is a hell to cycle or walk when it’s snowing, it does look very pretty. Makes me even more happy that I live in Groningen, haha! Anyways, in this outfit I’m wearing my new croptop that I’m totally in love with. It has long sleeves, so it’s perfect for those snowing days too!
For this outfit, I wanted to go for an all black vibe mixed with some neutrals ánd a pop of red. Because it was so cold outside, I went for my faux fur coat from Zara and these comfy statement booties from Forever 21. By the way, really random, but to me this always happens with hats and sunnies: it feels like every year my face or head shape changes, which means that sunnies, hats or beanies that I bought the year before don’t look cute on me anymore. I really wanted to wear a beanie with this look, but I just hated how it looked on me. Bummer! Now I’m on the lookout for some cute beanies asap. I still wanted to throw something on my head, so this leather baseball cap worked out perfectly, yay! To spice things up I also decided to take out my Charlotte Olympia Flowering Pandora Box Clutch. It’s so pretty, especially when I match my nails and lips in the same red colour!
As I was saying, I’m wearing this super cute wrap croptop that I received from Sheinside. For me, this croptop is the perfect day-to-night top. I love the fact that you can tie this croptop at the back, ’cause this way you can adjust how much skin you want to show. This means you can easily dress it down or up. Because I often have a long day at uni and then I almost immediately need to make some dinner and run out the door for an association drink or going out, I love to wear something that’s both appropriate for class and partying at the same time.
