Hi you!
How are you doing? At the moment I’m still in Portofino. The weather isn’t amazing (way better than in Holland though). It’s a really small town, but the funny thing is that there are super expensive ships and shops. Like the biggest yachts ever and shops like Dior and Emilio Pucci. The appartment my mom and her boyfriend rent here is really nice though, so we’re mostly chilling (it has a terrace on the roof!). Today we’re already leaving to Holland (or actually only me, because my mom and her boyfriend are still staying here, it’s her bday today!), because I have to get ready for my first sailing camp as volunteer. Really excited for that, but I hope the weather will be okay. Anyways, today I have an ootd that I wore in Rhodes. I still can’t get over the amazing view and over the amazingness of the top that I’m wearing. If you’re interested, keep reading!
Just look at that view. Just look at it. Like what the heck right? I know, I keep saying it all the time, but I just can’t get over it, haha.
I’m wearing these lace shorts that I got 2 years ago at Zara. I remember lace shorts being really ‘fashion forward’ at that moment and I was a bit insecure about buying them, because I thought they made my legs look fat, haha. White + not so skinny legs is never a good combinations. But now I think they do look good on me (probably because I’m also a bit skinnier than when I was younger). I rediscovered them this year and love them even more than I did before. Only thing is that I broke the zipper, because I was pulling on it too hard. Oops. But no worries, I already fixed them :).
Yup, this shirt is amazing. I think it looks so freaking stunning and unique. The neckline of the tee is really high, which I like, but the cutout makes sexy. The chain brings this tee totally to the next level, if you ask me. I got it from Zara as well and I’m so glad I bought it, because it is definitely one of the most unique pieces that I own. It looks like something Alexander Wang would design, don’t you think? And what a coincidence, he’s also one of my favourite designers… The shirt is made of a chiffon-y material that is double layered. The top layer is longer than the bottom one, so even though this tee isn’t cropped, it does let your stomach show through a bit.
For shoes, I’m wearing my New Look heels. That I ever doubted if I should buy them, because I don’t wear heels a lot, so I thought it would be a waste of money. Well guurl, you’ve been rocking these heels like crazy. I’m almost kinda sad that I didn’t buy a back up of them, because they’re so pretty, comfy and stylish. Luckily I have them in a nude colour as well, but I like the black ones a bit more.
The clutch that I’m holding is actually a make up bag from Shiseido. My mom got it for free when she purchased some Shisheido products, but she gave it to me. I think it looks really chique and expensive, I would never thought that it was a free make up bag haha! Of course, I’m also wearing my daily armcandy. I’m also wearing earrings from River Island, F21 and H&M and an earcuff from F21, but of course, my hair hides them. I didn’t want to wear a necklace with this outfit, because I thought it would be too much. I like the simplicity of this outfit and I wanted the tee + attached chain to be the main focus of this outfit.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the beautiful pictures of this outfit! I think this is one of the best outfit photos that I ever made. The background is just total perfection. I feel like a professional blogger now or something, haha. At the moment I’m actually editing a video for you + I’m filming a new one. It’s a bit of a struggle though, because I still have a lot to film and my cameraman (or actually cameramom haha) isn’t really in the mood. Well, I can’t force her you know. Hope it will turn out okay though, because I’m leaving Portofino today and it would be a shame if I had to film a part in Holland. It’s just way more beautiful outta here.
