Hi there!
Am I the only one who doesn’t find it that aweful when it rains outside? I actually love the feeling when I sitting inside while it rains like crazy. It makes me more productive, because I don’t feel the need to go outside to hang out with my homies. Today is the perfect rainy day, but the only thing is that I do have to go outside today… I have figure skating training in about 2 hours and I’m not really in the mood. I have to though, because my first competitions are coming and there is still so much work to be done… Anyways, today I’m going to show you one of the first fall outfits that I wore this year. I took these pictures a long time ago, but I never got the chance to show you the photos. The top and pants are already one of my favourite items and I’ve been wearing the crap out of them both. So yeah, let’s start, shall we?
The top that I’m wearing is this see through longsleeve croptop from H&M. I don’t own a lot of striped tees, but this is one of them and I love it. I think the see through striped pattern makes it really unique. I also love croptops with longer sleeves, because I like the contrast between the bare stomach and the hidden arms. This top is totally see through, so don’t try to ‘hide’ your bra underneath it. Instead, rock a pretty black bra as I did. Why the heck not right (you can also add a baby blue bra or if you want to play it safe, white is also always a good option)? This croptop is the perfect fall croptop, because it’s still cropped (duh), but not as cold as the regular sleeveless one.
I’m also really into these highwaisted leather joggingpants from H&M. I never thought that joggers would look good on me, especially not leather joggingpants. But damn, I think they look fucking awesome and they’re also the most comfortable bottoms ever. They have a soft lining on the inside, so you don’t feel the fake leather on your skin. This makes them also really warm and perfect for those cold fall or winter days! You will definitely see me wearing these pants loads upcoming fall and winter!
For shoes, I’m wearing these white Nike Janoskis. I think they tie this look perfectly together. The white matches with my top and the black Nike logo looks great with the black joggers. The sneakers also give a more urban vibe to this look, which I love. And they’re hella comfortable!
I wore a lot of jewellery in this outfit to make it even more swaggy. I added this choker with a little pearl from Asos, because I thought it would look perfectly with the black and white theme of this outfit. I also added two necklaces from Brandy Melville and a rose gold necklace from & Other Stories. I think the three gems look really pretty paired together. Of course I’m rocking my armcandy as well.
I’m also wearing two earcuffs from Forever 21 and H&M. To complete the look, I added some stud earrings from River Island, Forever 21 & H&M.
This outfit is the perfect example of a combination of minimalism and streetstyle/urban. I love minimalism, but sometimes minimalistic fashion can be a bit too boring for my taste. That’s why I love urban, hiphop inspired clothing: it always gives such a cool vibe to your outfit. The ‘colours’ of this outfit are minimalistic and monochromatic, but the fit of the clothing is streetstyle inspired. A perfect mix, if you ask me!
That’s it for this ootd! Did you like it? I think this is going to be one of my go to outfits. Chances are that if you’ll ever see me on the street, I’m wearing this. And yes, I think re-wearing outfits is totally okay and necessary, because c’mon, not everybody has the perfect, endless Kim Kardashion closet right? Anyways, I’m going to study now and think of all the reasons why I should go to figure skating training haha.
