How are you doing guys? I’m doing great actually. Despite the fact that I’ve been kinda sick these last couple of days, I’m still really enjoying my life at the moment. I’m feeling much better now, I’m actually pretty excited for school (and this time I’m going to do all the assignments on time, I promise!) and today I’m going to the hairdressers. They have 2 hours to cut and colour my hair, which sounds like a lot, but actually isn’t haha. I’m really excited for my new hairdo and I will definitely show it as soon as I have the pictures and my blogpost ready! Anyways, enough personal rambling. Today I’m going to show you an outfit wearing a flannel paired in a more unique way. Wanna see what I mean? Keep reading then ;).
Let’s start off with the coat. The coat that I’m wearing is this boyfriend camel coat from Forever 21. I added a faux fur collar that I stole from my mom (shht don’t tell) to add a bit more glam to it. Who said fur is only for the Winter right? I think lighter coloured fur is also very appropriate for the colder Spring season.
Another way to warm up your outfit during the colder Spring months is by wearing a thermo panty + some ankle socks. This way you will have extra warm feet because of the double layer (and warm feet equals warm body).
The top that I’m wearing is from Brandy Melville. It’s very soft, just like all the other Brandy stuff. I casually tucked it in my skirt to make this outfit look a bit more effortless. The skirt that I’m wearing is a skater skirt from H&M that I got ages ago, but I’m still loving it. I think skater skirts look very flattering on my body paired with some tights. The all black errthang on the bottom part of my body makes it look taller and skinnier.
So now onto my favourite part of this outfit: pairing a flannel with a skater skirt. I think most people already know the flannel-tied-around-your-hips trend, but most of them only wear it together with some jeans. But a skater skirt is also an awesome item to wear with a flannel. It adds even more volume to your skirt, which creates a hourglass shape. And it’s just a cool way to make your skirt look less girly and more edgy. The flannel that I’m wearing is from H&M.
For shoes I went with my amazing Alexander Wang Gabi Bootie with Rose Gold. I still love these babies and I wear them at least once a week. They are just too pretty to be sitting in my shoes closet for the rest of their lives, haha!
Because this outfit is pretty casual, I wanted to throw on some effortless jewellery as well. I went with two gemstone necklaces from Brandy Melville, some earstuds from Brandy Melville as well and my daily armcandy.

So, that’s it for today’s outfit of the day. I’m considering posting outfit of the days more often. At the moment I’m only posting ootds every Tuesday, but I think I want to add an extra ootd on Saturday as well. I’m not sure if I can keep up photographing and posting 2 outfits a week, but for now I have a stash of ootds that I still want to show you before they are a bit too hot to wear, haha. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below! I’m gonna go now, because I have a very busy day ahead of me + some partying at night. Have a great day guys and I will talk to you later!
