I wasn’t joking in my previous post: from now on, you can expect a new outfit of the day blogpost every Tuesday & Friday, yay! I’m excited you guys! And damn, I’m even more excited for this ootd in particular, because the photos turned out STUNNING. I’m not kidding. I really wanted to channel the inner festival babe in me when I wore this outfit. So I was searching for a very cool background that would go with the theme of this outfit. And well, I think it almost looks like I’m at Coachella, don’t you think?
Well, doesn’t it look like I’m in a desert?! It’s like I’m really at Coachella right? Despite the fact I really got a dirty ass due the sand, it was so fucking worth these pictures, haha. Anyways, let’s talk outfit details. The first thing that I’m wearing is a leather jacket from H&M. In my opinion, leather jackets are a must-have essential for festivals. I always wear a leather jacket to a festival, because it keeps me warm, protects me from the rain and it has handy pockets for my iPhone, money and keys.
The eyecatcher of this outfit is definitely the playsuit that I’m wearing. I already featured it in yesterday’s haul (click!) and I just couldn’t wait to wear it. It is a bit out of my comfortzone – let’s be clear, I usually don’t wear a crapload of fringe around my arms – but I don’t care. It’s so stunning and unique, I had to get it! It’s from the H&M x Coachella collection and I definitely think it’s Coachella proof! The round sunnies that I’m wearing are also from H&M by the way (damn, this is outfit is almost all H&M!).
To spice up this outfit even more, I added a black belt from H&M and a fedora hat from River Island. I think fedora hats are also perfect for festivals. I think they add that instant coolness to every outfit.
And even more H&M: when I saw this playsuit, I immediately knew I wanted to pair them with my studded ankle booties from H&M. I think they are a match made in heaven (+ they are very comfy, perfect for lots of dancing!). I really dig the fact that I combined a lot of gold and black in this outfit. It makes it very cohesive in my opinion :).
To add even more boho-ness to this outfit, I added loads of vintage inspired rings from Primark. I love the ‘oh I just threw on a bunch of rings, but I don’t care’-look of stacking rings, especially these vintage looking ones.
So that’s it for today’s blogpost! By the way, I decided to start adding gifs to every outfit of the day that I’m posting. I think gifs are still pretty unique in the blogging world and I really dig making them. There’s just something addicting about staring at gifs, don’t you think? Anyways, today I’m travelling to Rotterdam, because I’m going to see Josie again! We needed to film a looot of footage for our #Summerguidebabes series. It will be up next Sunday, so stay tuned! Have a good weekend and I will talk to you later.
ARE YOU GOING TO ANY FESTIVALS THIS SUMMER?
