I know what you’re thinking: Lilia, you said you were gone and now only two days has passed and there is a new blogpost on Lily Like? Well now you’re saying it like it’s a bad thing… Haha! But yeah, it’s true: I’m pretty much addicted to blogging, so after not posting for a couple of days, I really felt the need to post something again. Especially because I also wanted to let you know how my exams went. So at the end of this blogpost I’ll have a lil’ personal update for everybody that’s interested. And if not, no worries, because this is also a good ol’ outfit of the day blogpost! This is actually my first outfit ever with my beloved Charlotte Olympia clutch that I got for my birthday. And I’m also rocking my new loafers and (kind of new) cigarette pants. Hope you enjoy!
In this outfit I’m wearing a lot of favourite newcomers of mine. These items are all fairly new to my wardrobe (I got everything this season) and I think they look a-ma-zing together, not gonna lie. First of all, I’m wearing my camel coat from Mango. I love the colour, I love the cut and I love the length of this coat. It’s just exactly the kind of camel coat that I wanted for ages. The top that I’m wearing is a pretty lace-up top/sweater from River Island. It’s super comfy and I think the model of this top looks very flattering on me. I’m also rocking my new cigarette pants from Missguided. I love the fact that they are high waisted and tapered at the bottom – makes them really flattering as well. And last but not least, my loafers from Zara. Although they aren’t that comfortable (need to break these babies in asap), I like the way they look on. They’re a bit different for me, but I dig it!
I love it when I find different locations that go perfectly with my outfit. Like how amazing does my Charlotte Olympia Flowering Pandora box clutch look together with the little red flowers in the picture? I just love finding these little details that take your outfit pictures to the next level! And of course, I’m obsessed with my first designer bag too, duuuh, haha.

So, quick personal update: yesterday I had my first exam of this year: Civil Procedure Law. It wasn’t the hardest subject ever or something, but because I had so little time to study (the last lecture ended this Friday and my exam was Wednesday – 5 days is just not enough to get a high grade), I was super stressed out about it. I really wanted to nail this thing. I was so scared about it though, because I felt overwhelmed – I literally didn’t know where to start if you know what I mean. Another thing was that this exam started at 6.30 PM until 9.30 PM. Yeah, you read that right, P fucking M. I was so sleepy/hungry/nervous that I couldn’t concentrate the whole day, and especially right before my exam. Luckily, this exam went way better than expected, which I really needed. It gave a big confidence boost and although I’m still not sure if I got that 9/10, I have a good feeling about it and now I’m motivated to nail my second exam, that I have in only 2 days. Yeah, fingers crossed again for me please. <3

Toffe outfit! Je schoentjes zijn heeel mooi, maar kan me wel voorstellen dat je die inderdaad even in moet lopen, haha! Je clutch is ook heel tof, Charlotte Olympia is zo’n prachtig merk! Fijn dat je tentamen uiteindelijk beter ging dan verwacht. Hopelijk zet dat door!
