A postcard from the lovely Thessaloniki. That’s how this outfit of the day feels to me to be honest. Although we’re slowly getting into the Fall and its amazing fashion, I can’t part with Summer – yet. The thought that in a couple of weeks I won’t be able to wear bare leg outfits is pretty devastating. But let’s not let the negative thinking get to us: we still have some sunny days ahead of us (praying) and I also have a couple of Summer-y outfit inspiration to show you, woohoo! In this particular outfit I’m rocking the I-am-still-wearing-PJs-look. Yeah, that’s right: in this outfit I’m actually wearing nightwear as daywear. Who said PJs are only for lazy Sundays?!
The sunsets in on the Thessaloniki boulevard are one of the prettiest I’ve seen so far. It was so nice to just stroll around and enjoy the last, warm rays of sun. I can’t wait to go back to Thessaloniki, because it really feels like my second (or third?) home now. Anyways, the top that I’m wearing is as I already told you, actually nightwear. I got it at Intimissimi, the best lingerie store ever in my opinion. I love the colour of this top, because I think it goes really well with my eyes and complexion. I added my favourite highwaisted shorts from Pull & Bear to make the top look a bit less sexy.
Time for accessories! Because this top is pretty daring, I wanted to keep it quite simple accessories wise. I added my favourite armcandy at the moment and threw on a pair of my beloved white Adidas Superstar sneakers. These babies are so super comfy! To make them a lil’ bit more interesting, I added a ‘kiltie’ on top.
To make this look a bit more classy, I decided to add my Paul’s Boutique bag. I’ve been rocking this baby loads lately, just because it looks so chic. I love the black patent leather and suede combination too. You can find the bag here (for all my Dutchies!). It’s not the exact same one as I have, but it’s pretty similar. For earrings, I’m wearing some small studs and a rose gold earcuff from H&M.
I hope I will be strolling on this boulevard in the very near future. With a different outfit – of course. After reading this blogpost, I hope I convinced you that even PJs can be worn in a fashionable way. Just think out of the box and you can pull of anything that you really want!
HAVE YOU EVER WORN PJS AS A REGULAR OUTFIT? (BE HONEST NOW!)
