You thought scuba material was only used for diving suits and Triangl bikinis? Well, you’re wrong, ’cause then you’ve never heard of scuba skater skirts before. If you want that perfect flared out skater skirt that gives you the perfect hourglass figure, a scuba skater skirt is definitely the way to go. I wanted to style this pretty dressy skirt in a more casual way. I’m really not a dress or skirt type of person, but in the Summer I like to make an exception. If you wanna know how I achieved that look, keep reading!
I took these pictures during my Summer roadtrip through Greece when I was in Volos. They had these beautiful blooming trees everywhere. Why don’t we have trees like this in Holland? It really annoys me, haha! The skirt that I’m wearing is from Choies. I actually re-bought it, because the first skirt got ruined in the wash. So if you get this skirt, don’t wash it in the washing machine, handwash is the way to go.
I wanted to spice this casual look up by adding some rose gold accessories. Everything is better with a little bit (or a little lot lol) of rose gold right? I wore some rose gold necklaces that I layered from Michael Kors and & Other Stories, my daily armcandy, some rose gold sunnies from Topshop and rose gold sandals from a Greek store called Online. Yeah, rose gold overload, haha!
I wanted to keep this outfit very comfy, so that’s why I added a grey oversized croptop from Brandy Melville. This tee is one of the softest clothing items I know, and I often lounge or sleep in it. It’s very cute though, so I also wear it as ‘normal’ clothing too, haha!
I wanted to incorporate the flower theme in my first outfit of the day and I think I succeeded at that (you don’t call your blog Lily Like for nothing right?). They definitely give me that Summer feeling, even though the Summer is slowly coming to its end. Let me know in the comments below what you think of this casual scuba skirt pairing. I would love to know!
