My Study Routine for Law School/University Exams

Ever since I’ve started studying at the George Washington University Law School and finished my first semester, my study routine for Law School/University exams has definitely changed. Not only is it quite different to study in a new country with a new legal system in general, the American system in particular also varies a lot from the Dutch study system I am used to. Although I would say that the level of difficulty of the courses is the same, American Law Schools expect way more preparation, interaction, and discussion from you during their lectures based on the Socratic method, and you also have to juggle more law courses than in the Dutch system. So how do I do it?

LAW SCHOOL VLOG #32 | Redecorating My Loft Apartment & My School Advice To You

Hey guys, happy Monday! I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but I’m happy the weekend is over and it’s a start of a new week. I had a pretty weird weekend – kind of chill yet fucking stressful at the same time. Being ill, tired and having some bad luck is just not a good combination to be honest: think of handing in your peer review paper deadline at 23.59 and re-uploading this new Law School Vlog #32 for 3 (!) times, because Youtube had some mysterious issues. The worst part was that the university library was already closed, so I had to stand outside (freaking cold) and waited 1 hour before I finally fixed everything (my internet at home is crappy). Fortunately, everything ended up being okay, so you can imagine I feel very happy about sharing this new vlog about redecorating my loft apartment & my school advice to you today!

Law School Vlog #31 + New Blog Layout

New week, new me? This Monday I’ve realized that we are almost halfway through 2017. How crazy is that, honestly? I feel like 2017 has definitely been quite the year for me. Although some amazing things have happened to me this year, I still feel like I would not call this year a ‘good’ year. I had and still have some major challenges ahead of me and it makes me feel rather anxious – while not being a naturally anxious person at all. Anyways, one of the things that keeps me going this year is constant change (pretty paradoxical isn’t it). I keep wanting to reinvent myself and find new ways to express my feelings, thoughts and mindstates. On that note, I made a rather different Law School Vlog #31 this time and also switched up my blog layout a bit. Hope you like it!

Good morning guys! It’s time for a quick blog update. I had kind of a bad day yesterday (read: editing a video the whole day and then getting fucked over by my editing software so I couldn’t upload it), and today isn’t going to be much better (read: I have a deadline tonight for my take-home exam for Social Philosophy: Language and Power and I still have to do so much for it). I’ve been super busy lately, especially when it comes to my Youtube and blog life.
