REVIEW: ACTION/MAX & MORE LASHES

Hey!

The reviews keep coming, ’cause today I have another one for ya! To compensate all the MAC stuff I’ve been reviewing lately, I’m going to talk about the cheapest lashes ever: €0,80 for 3 pairs of lashes. I know, that’s almost too good to be true right? I bought them at Action and the brand is called MAX & MORE. If you follow my blog for a while, you probably know that I’m a real fake lash junkie. I do have pretty long lashes naturally, but falsies just add that extra oompf that I always miss. Everytime I put on falsies, I feel like I have a good make up day, haha. So yeah, if you wanna know what I think about these 3 pairs of different false lashes from Action/Max, keep reading!

First of all, let’s talk packaging. The Max & More lashes + adhesive come in this simple packaging. For freaking €0,80 I think it looks pretty good!

I always keep the plastic ‘thingie’ the lashes come with, because it helps me to keep my lashes organized. You don’t wanna know how often I lost 1 lash or found them sticking to my make up remover or something. #falsieloverproblems, haha. As I already said before, you get 3 pairs of different lashes + 3 tubes of glue. The bottom ones are pretty natural, the second lashes have a cat eye going on and the last ones are super dramatic.

What do I think about the glue? To be honest, it’s okay. It’s nothing special or something and I still prefer my Primark or Catrice lash glue, but if you don’t wanna buy separate adhesive, it works fine. Don’t expect any miracles though, ’cause the glue isn’t going to last the whole day (+ night).

To show you the big impact falsies can make, I have two pics of me without any lashes on (just my natural lashes + mascara). I know, I’m pretty blessed with good lashes. I can get them even longer if I apply more coats of mascara, but I usually stick with only 1 coat, because I’m lazy, haha.

I’m going to start off with the most natural lashes. This is how they look close up. As you can see, they look really natural, perfect for everyday. I think nobody will notice that you’re wearing lashes. They do add a bit of drama to my eyes, without being too overpowering. I really recommend this pair for beginners, because it’s pretty easy to use. Another tip by the way is to always wear liner whenever you’re applying lashes. This way the band of the falsies isn’t that visible if you don’t apply it really close to your natural lashes.

And this is the full face shot. Do you see the slight difference? I can definitely see it, haha. My eyes are a bit more defined! So yeah, I definitely recommend this pair.

Next up are the more cat eye fake lashes. This is definitely my favourite pair. I love a good winged out eye look and these definitely accentuate my daily winged liner. I think they open my eyes and add some definition. They are a bit more dramatic than the previous ones, but I still think they look natural enough for going to school or work. These lashes are perfect for date nights by the way!

Full face shot. Yup, I’m definitely obsessed with this pair of lashes.

Okay, don’t scream, I know. This is freaking scary, haha. I mean, how fucking dramatic are these lashes haha? To be honest, I don’t like them. I like my make up to be rather natural, but this is just waaay too much for me. I wouldn’t even wear this to a party. They are also really hard to apply, because they’re so thick. It’s harder to place these falsies close to your own lashes, because they aren’t that bendable. Nope, I really don’t recommend these ones. Maybe if you’re into va va voom shit, but otherwise no.

I look like a totally different person right? I think it looks pretty aweful, but I just wanted to show you this pic to convince you how big the impact is lashes can make. I feel like Lady GaGa in this photo, lol.

My overall opinion is really positive about these lashes. For €0,80 you get 2 amazing pairs of lashes, 1 bad pair + 3 okay tubes of adhesive. You can’t go wrong with that you know, especially if you’re a fake lashes rookie. I use one pair of lashes for a month or something (if I don’t loose them), so spending €0,80 in one or two months is totally fine by me. I repurchased these lashes 5 times already, I just can’t live without them. So yeah, if you wanted to try falsies, yet you didn’t want to waste money, this is your day ;).

So that’s it for today’s review! At the moment I’m on my way to Amsterdam. I’m going to chill with my mom, maybe do some shopping with her and in the evening I’m going to chill with some of my friends. And I also have to fit in some time to edit a video + do my overload of homework… Wish me luck!

De eerste en tweede vind ik mooi, staan je goed! Ik gebruik zelf altijd Eylure en als ik dat een ander of goedkoper merk gebruik valt het altijd tegen. Maar deze zien er goed uit!
