As you could read in my previous blogpost (click!), I got this new Dipbrow Pomade from Anastasia and I’m going to review it for you guys today (review overload lately on my blog haha)! I’ve never tried any gelliner/pomade-ish things for my brows until now. I used to use pencil and a long time back powder. But lately I haven’t been digging my brows for some reason. They kinda annoyed me, especially when I saw pictures of myself. The colour and the shape wasn’t perfect. And I’m a real perfectionist, so I needed to change it asap.
This is how the product looks like. I got it in the lightest colour, called Blonde. Pretty obvious, haha. It looks just like a gelliner and it the consistency is also really similar. It has a really nice finish, because it dries really matte and it last pretty long on your brows. Pencils made my eyebrows always a bit greasy, if you know what I mean. This pomade dries just like a gelliner, so your brows look way nicer. You also need just a tiny bit to do your brows. Less is definitely more with this product. So although it’s pretty expensive, it will last you probably for 1 or 2 years. So it’s worth it.
Don’t be scared, here are my bare brows. They’re kinda full, but not that dark, so that’s why I like to use a browproduct that is a couple of shades darker than my natural browcolour. I also don’t really like the shape, because they’re kinda round, while I like a more angular brow.
And this is how my brow looks when I’ve put a bit of product in it. It’s not done here haha. You can see that I make my brows a bit more angular looking.
This is how my brows look all finished! Way better huh? I especially like the colour and the consistency of this product, because it’s a cool toned, dark, but not too dark blonde colour and it has a very dry formula. So yeah, I definitely recommend this product, it’s the best browproduct I’ve ever tried and I’m probably never going to go back to pencil or browpowder. Only reason why I would ever use a browpencil is if I’m really in a hurry or something. Yeah, Anastasia is really the queen of browproducts!
I took this pictures a couple days back and in the meantime I found a tutorial on Youtube of a girl that did her brows amazingly. I really got inspired by her technique, so the way my brows look in the pictures hasn’t been the way I’ve been doing my brows lately. I still need to perfect it though (it’s hard!), but I think I’ll get it right after a while. Would you be interested in my brow routine? I would also show you the Youtube video I got inspired by. Let me know in the comments below!
