REVIEW | Make-Up Studio Dark Pout Allure Lipsticks
I’m pretty much a lip products junkie, not gonna lie. I always have to have something on my lips and lately I’ve been really into experimenting with darker lip colours. I think they’re perfect for the Winter time. That’s why I was so excited to try out the new Make-Up Studio Dark Pout Allure Lipsticks. In this review I’m going to talk about no. 45 and 58. They’re both vampy colours, but very different at the same time!

PACKAGING

I’m going to start off with the packaging. The Make-Up Studio lipsticks come in this rubberized, matte black packaging that looks pretty in my opinion. I also love the shape of the lipsticks: they have a more square edge/shape, which makes applying them on your lips really easy. And they have a lovely vanilla scent too!

SWATCHES

Swatch time! As you can see, no. 45 is a muted purple/mauve, while no 58 is more of a red-ish brown. Both are very unique colours in my opinion that you cannot find easily somewhere else. We’ve all seen the darkred lip, so it’s cool to be able to go vampy in a different way too now. Also, these lipsticks are very pigmented and smooth. They have a bit more shine than a satin finish, but this also makes them really moisturizing.

ON THE LIPS

This is how the lipsticks look on me (top is no. 58, bottom is no. 45)! As you can see, the colour and texture of this lipstick is beautiful. Even if you have dry, chapped lips, you can totally pull of wearing these lipsticks. I think that’s awesome, especially because I love to wear vampy colours like these in the Winter, but my lips do tend to get really dry around that time. Being able to wear dark lipsticks that don’t accentuate my dry patches is definitely a big plus for me!

YAY OR NAY?

For me, both these lipsticks are definitely a yay. The colours are amazing, I love the texture and I think the packaging is also nice. Because the formula of these lipsticks is very moisturizing, they don’t last as long on the lips tho. This means that these lipsticks are high maintainence, but I think they are totally worth it. I mean, these colours are so vibrant and unique, I don’t mind touching up my lips during the day! I would love to know which colour is your favourite of these Make-Up Studio Dark Pout Allure Lipsticks. Let me know in the comments below!

What do you think of dark lips?

Prachtige lipsticks! Nummer 58 vind ik echt zo mooi. Ik ben dol op donkere lippen. Ik zou wel alleen willen dat ik ze ook naar buiten durf te dragen haha x
