Putting on lipstick is probably my favorite make-up step in my routine – I never skip it. I’m just a lipstick kind of girl! One of my favorite brands of lipstick is Make-Up Studio. I already owned a couple of their lipsticks, but when I saw that they had a new collection coming out called Matte About You, I had to review them. Matte lipsticks are my favorite kind of lipsticks, so you can imagine me being really excited for this collection. I received 3 of the lipsticks in the colors Poetic Pink, Foxy Fuchsia & Nude Nirvana and today I’m going to talk about them in this blogpost!
PACKAGING
I really like the packaging of Make-Up Studio lipsticks. They’re made from this rubberized material which gives them a nice feel when you hold them in your hands. And of course, gold accents are also always a good thing. 😉 Another thing that I like about these lipstick is their shape of the bullet. They have kind of square edge, which makes it easy to put them on.
SWATCHES
Swatch time! The one on the left is Nude Nirvana, next up is Poetic Pink & the last one is Foxy Fuchsia. Just look at that pigmentation. LOOK AT IT. I think these are one of the most pigmented lipsticks I’ve ever tried. I love the finish of them – really matte but non-drying at the same time. Love, love, love!
ON THE LIPS
The first one is Nude Nirvana, next up is Poetic Pink & the last one is Foxy Fuchsia. How pretty are they right? As you can see, they have a great color pay off + they don’t accentuate any of my dryness. I’m impressed, for sure!
FULL FACE

YAY OR NAY?
Well, these lipsticks are definitely a yay for me. I already own 5 Make-Up Studio lipsticks (!), but these are a great addition to my collection. I think the shades are very unique yet wearable + perfect for Spring. The packaging and the shape of the lipstick are awesome, they smell nice and the pigmentation is to die for. Love it! They are definitely one of my favorite lipsticks I’ve ever tried, so I can’t wait to add more of them to my collection. Ik hou zelf van shiny en matte lipsticks. Maar bij matte lipsticks zie je wel al snel fijne lijntjes in je lippen.

My favorite is Poetic Pink, It’s just such a nice shade of pink, not too light or dark. I’m more of a matte kind of girl even though I love a shiny lip at some occasions. They all look really good on you, <3
