Don't let anybody with bad eyebrows tell you shit about life. Pretty much a quote I live by. Because I want to be that person with fleeky brows, I'm always on the lookout for some new eyebrow products to try out. Recently, Benefit Cosmetics invited me to attend their magical press event about their newest brow products collection. They've released 9 (!) new products in 6 (!!) different shades. Pretty impressive if you ask me. We got the chance to try them. I'm going to review two of the new Benefit brow products: the Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil and the Ka-Brow! Eyebrow Cream-Gel Color, both in the color 3.

PACKAGING

First I'm going to talk about the packaging. The new Benefit Cosmetics brow products have the typical Benefit-ish look to them: they're girly, funny and practical. With these whole brow collection, Benefit wanted to go for a magical theme, inspired by magic tricks. I think the silver packaging is cute, although I would prefer seeing a rose gold one (you know, I'm completely obsessed with rose gold, so...). Either way, both of these items have a very handy packaging. The brow pencil has a two sides: one side with the actual product, one size with the spoolie. And what I love about this design, is the fact that it has two different looking lids - you'll never mess up your pencil again with putting on the wrong lid (happened to many times to me...). The cream-gel has also a very practical packaging: the lid also contains a little angled brush, perfect for touching up your brows on the go! And I have to say, these items are also veryyy photogenic, haha...

SWATCHES

I always like to show you the products that I review as a swatch ánd on my face. This way you'll get the best overview of how the products actually work. The left swatch is from the brow pencil, the right one is from the cream-gel color. As you can see, the colors of these products is almost exactly the same. They're both in the color 3, which a bit of a mid-tone brown color. Both the brow products are very pigmented - the pencil is a bit more dry, the cream-gel, as the name already suggests, is creamier.

HOW TO USE

Now onto the most exciting part: how to use these new Benefit brow products? So first I'm starting off with my bare, unbrushed an unruly brows. These brows need some grooming asap!

PRECISELY, MY BROW PENCIL

I'm first starting off with using the Benefit Precisely, My Brow Pencil. First off I'm brushing my brows into the shape I want with the spoolie. I'm very picky when it comes to spoolies (since I've discovered the Anastasia Brow Wiz Pencil's spoolie, I've seen the light of the importance of a good spoolie lol), but this one is very similar to my favorite one! After brushing my brows, I'm filling them in with the pencil side. And you guys: this brow pencil has the sharpest point I've ever come across. It's really thin and precise, so you can really make those perfect fleekish brows! I'm mostly outlining my brows with this pencil, focusing on the ends and the bottom.

KA-BROW! EYEBROW CREAM-GEL COLOR

After filling in my brows, I add some final touches with the Ka-Brow! Eyebrow Cream-Gel Color. This makes my brows look a bit more polished and intensifis the color. This product is also waterproof, which is great for all those busy-having-long-work-days-girls outta there. If you're interested how this compares to the Anastasia Dipbrow: it's a bit more waxy and less pigmented, making it look somewhat more natural! Also, the brush that it comes with is pretty nice. I do like to use my own brush, but this one will definitely do on the go!

THE FINAL RESULT

And this is the final result! Well, I guess my brows are on fleek, if I can say so myself! These products also lasted the whole day on face, which is a must for me. I also think the color 3 is a perfect match for my hair color. It's a bit darker than my natural brows, but I like that look on blonde girls like me! Yup, pretty much obsessed with my new brows. <3

YAY OR NAY?

I like both of the new Benefit brow products, but the Precisely, My Brow Eyebrow Pencil is my favorite. It definitely was the answer to my brow dilemma ;).
