REVIEW | Real Techniques Bold Metals Rose Gold Brushes

I think I can safely say that Real Techniques has one of the prettiest brushes out there. As a rose gold junkie, I instantly fell in love with the Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes. They come in silver, gold and rose gold, and of course I had to try out the rose gold ones. Investing in brushes can seem a bit redundant (are they really better than cheaper brushes or just applying your make-up with your fingers?), so I thought it would be great to share my thoughts on these with you. These brushes were kindly send to me by Real Techniques. RT has one of the most unique brush collection at the moment in my opinion (I love the RT Miracle Complexion Sponge and the RT Bold Metals Miracle Diamond Sponge). So today I'm going to review the Real Techniques Bold Metals Rose Gold Brushes in 300 and 301.

REAL TECHNIQUES BOLD METALS 300 TAPERED BLUSH BRUSH

Real Techniques describes the Tapered Blush Brush as a specially-designed tip highlights and sculpts across cheeks for seamless finish. I can definitely agree with that, because I feel like this brush gives me a lot of precision to really sculpt my cheeks. Most blush brushes are very big and fluffy, and give you that natural flush effect when you use them to apply your blush. Although there's nothing wrong with that, sometimes I want a more precise application of my blush, especially when I've contoured and highlighted my face as well. This brush is tiny compared to regular blush brushes, so it definitely does the trick for me. If you have a smaller face, this brush would be perfect for you. It's a really dense brush as well, so it can even handle the application of poorly-pigmented blushes. For very intense blushes, make sure you use a light hand though.

The retail price is €18,00 and you can get online (here) or in selected stores.

REAL TECHNIQUES BOLD METALS 301 FLAT CONTOUR BRUSH

A dense head creates shadows and highlights on targeted areas of face to play up favorite features. The bristles are etremely soft and the brush is also weighted for optimal control and comfort. That's what Real Techniques says about the Flat Contour Brush. Not only is this make-up brush a beauty, I find it also great to apply that heavy duty contour, when I want to go for an on fleek make-up look. The bristles are super soft (they're not lying at RT, haha) and very dense as well. What I personally love about the Flat Contour Brush, is the fact that it has an angular shape, which makes applying your contour to only the targeted area easier. Not being blessed in the cheekbone section, I like it when I can apply my contour very precisely. So for all my contour lovers, check out this brush - you're gonna love it!

The retail price is €19,89 and you can get online (here) or in selected stores.

YAY OR NAY?

The Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes are definitely a yay for me. Despite the fact that they are a bit more expensive than your average brushes, I feel like you really get the quality you're paying for. Are they a musthave? No, but if you're thinking in investing in some good brushes you will have for years (yes, most of my MAC brushes for example are 10 (!!!) years old), check out these Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes. They're extremely soft, are nicely weighted and apply my make-up very dense and accurate.

These brushes are definitely for the more on fleek make-up lovers, because they give you extreme precision and apply blush or contour in a very pigmented matter. The make-up brushes are also extremely photogenic, so for all my blogging/Instagrammin' babes out there: get these babies, 'cause they are one of my favorite items to add to flatlays. They are just so pretty and they give each photo that 'luxe' vibe.

They also go perfectly with my white-marble-rose-gold interior, so I'm really happy I have them in my make-up brushes collection. So if you have the extra money and you're interested in purchasing some high quality make-up brushes that are pretty af, definitely go for the Real Techniques Bold Metals Brushes! You will not regret it, I promise you. 😉
