Re-creating an at-home café experience has been a fun way to experiment with different drink recipes. January has been a hell of a month for me. I was so busy with studying and stressing for my exams, I barely had the time to worry about other stuff. Such as my health, fitness and food pattern. And oh that thing called social life too. Anyways, now that my exams are finally over, I can start living a normal life again – kind of at least. Although this wasn’t a real new year’s resolution for me or something, I want to start getting fit again. Now it’s the perfect time to start if you want that perfect Summer body (I personally feel like ‘the perfect Summer body’ is more a myth than a true story lol) and this time I want to really achieve it. I don’t believe in diets, but I do believe in healthier choices. I’m not that type of person that needs something sweet from time to time. I’m not going to restrict myself, but instead, I’ll choose the healthier option. This time I have a (semi) healthy Chocolate Oat Drink for you, that’s the perfect alternative if you’re craving a sweet drink.
I think this saying has become a cliché, but it’s still so true: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You should never, ever (EVER) skip it! But as so many things in this life, people don’t always practice what they preach. I have to say that I’m definitely guilty of skipping my brekkie whenever I’m in a hurry (which is usually always the case – I’m not a morning person at all). Lately, I’ve been really trying to wake up early and start my day the right way, with some good ol’ breakfast. That’s why I’m sharing this easy and pretty quick breakfast idea with you today. For me it’s the perfect breakfast!

Especially because I ordered some freaking cute drinking straws from Ebay and I finally got my hands on a real Ball Mason Jar, which makes every drink look 9824 times cuter. And because I’ve never shared this all time favourite recipe of mine. It’s a 100% healthy hazelnut and cinnamon (hot) chocolate drink that I like to make, well, always. My guilty pleasure has always been hot chocolate, so that’s why I’m so happy that I also have a healthy version instead of my favourite drink.
