Hey guys! Long time no see. I've been a little bit MIA lately on my blog and I haven't been posting as frequently here as I would like to. I think it all has to do with starting my new second half of the semester. I still have to get used to my new schedule and courses + I've been posting a lot on Youtube too recently. So my blogging game suffered from that unfortunately. Now I'm back with a belated travel diary about my weekend in Porto Ercole, Italy. This is a lovely place in Tuscany and my mom and I had a great stay there at the Argentario Golf Resort & Spa. This resort is the perfect combination between a minimal interior and amazing Italian nature. I can't wait to show you our amazing hotel room either!
So when we arrived in the Argentario Resort - I was completely dead after skipping a night of sleep and having an exam earlier that evening - I was so pumped to see this big, fluffy bed. My mom and I ended up having a lovely night in with some room service and comfy sweaters. Honestly, Argentario Resort has one of the prettiest rooms I've ever stayed in. The Argentario Golf Resort & Spa is a 5-star resort with design rooms, 18-hole golf course, wellness center and gourmet restaurant specializing in Tuscan cuisine.I just really love the minimal yet chic style they went for, so I definitely enjoyed my stay here! They're also building some new villas which are going to be for sale very soon - would be pretty awesome to live there (yeah, keep dreaming haha). My favorite thing about the hotel room was the open bathroom. The sink and vanity were just to die for! It really made me want to take a minute and really enjoy putting on my make-up and getting ready, haha. I love taking baths, but unfortunately I don't have bath in my studio, so I enjoyed having one here! I also really liked the huge terrace our room came with, and especially the stunning view!
Last, but not least, Porto Ercole is a great place if you want to see some lovely nature. My mom and I saw this super cute water vole, pink flamingo's and even more beautiful views! I had a great walk through the golf courts (they're so big and green!) and finished the day off with a spa treatment in the Espace spa. I definitely enjoyed my stay in Porto Ercole and I would recommend it to anybody that's looking for a relaxing weekend off!
